I would agree. As rewarding as it can be to have a dog, they smell awful and track in mud. At least with cats you can put their litter box in a closet or garage, which is much easier to clean up than picking up dog poop in the yard.

This is wonderful. Developing a community for caregivers to receive emotional support would be amazing. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease when I was 11 and my dad and I were completely alone. This man's daughter is so thoughtful.
