Promising review: "Let me start by saying this isn't my first cat eye rodeo. I've tried the taping method, normal liquid liner, plastic winged stamping devices, stencils, all of it! Well, this gem arrived and I immediately had to try it out, all while laughing at how terrible this would probably turn out...but to my surprise I put the left cat eye on first and it was perfect. I thought this was a fluke and did the right eye...again, it came out clean and perfect! I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN ABLE TO DO A CAT EYE IN UNDER 10 MINUTES, LET ALONE THE TWO MINUTES THIS TOOK TO DO! There were no sloppy streaks that I had to touch up or anything you would expect. Just a clean crisp line. I can now do a cat eye EVERY day and look/feel like a badass. Everyone can think I spend hours doing my makeup in the morning." —LadyMeow

I wear the shade, Picante (peep the left photo!), literally almost every time I wear any sort of eye makeup! It's that particular shade because it compliments my pink hair *so well,* but *all* of the eyeliners are amazing and so pigmented! It applies so smoothly and precisely, so my wings are always fire — but you can also use the smudger to, well, smudge out the color and get a smokier look. Loooove!
Promising review: "Does exactly what it says: super creamy, easy to apply, no tugging, blend-able but doesn't smudge once it dries, and doesn't run when used on the lower lash line! Picante is the perfect summer/fall color; it's a maroon red that adds drama without being too much. Makes my gray eyes really pop. I think it would also look great on brown eyes and medium/deep skin tones." —Lara
Get them from Milani Cosmetics for $8.99 each (available in eight shades).
Promising review: "This is my go-to mascara and if they discontinue it, I will die. It’s a smidge thick, so you do have to be careful and comb through, but I absolutely love it." —Tall Shopper

It also comes with three cushy replacement pads, so this curler will last you through the apocalypse.

Promising review: "My skin is visibly smoother and brighter, and I feel like the rest of the products I use are working better because there’s less dead skin cells to get passed. I have been doing the 10-step routine for six months with wonderful results, but I felt like I had hit a plateau. Now with this exfoliating gel added to my arsenal, I have hit a new level of skin happiness." —Piano L.

Promising review: "Now that I have to deal with 'adult acne,' it's sent me scurrying in every direction, from drugstore to dermatologist, to try and clear it. Unlike my teenage years, the problems I deal with now are not straightforward zits. My pores get clogged, but they're stubborn buggers and don't like to be extracted. The Mighty Patch has been great because it actually succeeds in bringing all that grossness to the surface. From there, it's easy just to extract and blast off. I'm also guilty of that cardinal sin in zit care — constantly poking at the blemish and this keeps me from myself. I've already gone through one sheet!" —Karen Lee

I bet this would be a great dupe for Glossier Cloud Paint! Also, another reviewer said, "Minnesota winters leave me feeling pretty drab, so this goodness definitely perks me up," and I just had to let you know! 😍
Promising review: "This is a great product. It is sheer, but packs a punch color-wise, and blends out well. I use my fingers or a brush. It looks great on the skin, and sticks around for 8+ hours. No shimmer, but gives a nice luminosity to the skin. I’m looking forward to getting more colors." —Kristen

Promising review: "I have curly hair, so when I straighten it all of the little frizzies around my scalp and face come out. The tiniest little drop of this helps smooth my frizzies out and keep my hair in place. I've been using this product for years and I plan to continue in the future." —Christina C.

That's my hair right there! As you can see, it really picks up all of the annoyingly too-short hairs near the nape of my neck that I can't gather into a high ponytail or bun. (Don't mind the remaining front-framing wispies in the "after" photo — those are there on purpose!) There is one main caveat though: I only use it if I know I'll be washing my hair that night, since it does still ~stiffen~ the areas of hair I use it on — but it's better than hairspray, in my opinion *and* the reviewer's opinion down below. Some reviewers say that they can just brush the gel out and not have to wash their hair, but I have bleached, color-treated hair that's pretty weakened — so I'd rather not.
Promising review: "I cannot put my hair up in a high pony or bun now *without* using this product. It truly tames every flyaway and keeps them tame for hours — I come home after a nine-hour day and they’re still in place. I have a fifteen-month-old baby and have had crazy postpartum hair growth, especially along my hairline near my forehead, and this product has been a godsend." —HeatherH

Promising review: "I definitely noticed a change in my skin after I started using this. It helps me achieve a 'glass skin' look because my skin looks a little brighter immediately after use. I’ve noticed my complexion becoming clearer and more even after a couple of months, and it has also helped with acne scarring. The smell isn’t too strong, and it’s a pleasant scent. All I use is a little squeeze, just enough to fit on the tip of my finger. A little goes a long way because this cleanser really does foam and lather well. After using it, my face doesn’t feel dry or squeaky." —Cam L.

Promising review: "Beats out $75+ eye serums hands down! I have always had dark circles under my eyes, not for lack of sleep but good ol' genetics. I could make them disappear with enough concealer and some eye creams would lessen them but they would never fully go away. Until now. I kid you not, within two days, I wasn't reaching for the concealer. I can't live without this stuff now and completely stopped using any other eye cream, because none of them work nearly as well as this. If you need to, it's also light enough to layer under another eye product. It absorbs almost instantly — just try it." —Jameson

Promising review (for the hydrating gentle kind): "I prefer to double cleanse with an oil or balm cleanser on days I wear makeup or sunscreen, but my skin was getting too annoyed with the foaming cleansers I was using afterward. Now that northern California is burning all around me and winter is coming, my skin needed this cleanser! This is like a mix between a milk and a gel, but it does not foam up. It has a lot of slip and feels cooling on my face. I love the big bottle size and for a slightly pricey brand, this cleanser is fairly priced. I will continue to repurchase this and I bought a bottle for my best friend who has the most sensitive, reactive skin ever, and she loves it too. :)" —gwangarang

Promising review: "This is the best nail polish I have found in years. I have problems with peeling nails and have rarely found a polish that actually stays on for more than a day or so. This Essie gel couture is shiny, hard, and actually stays on my nails for at least a week even when used over another coating (Nailtiques Formula 2). I have gotten compliments on this polish that it looks like a professional manicure." —Blue

Promising review: "So I bought this on a whim because I like other Seaweed Bath Co. products and this one comes in a fragrance-free option. Now, I am hooked and here's why: it's the silkiest shower gel I ever used, the ingredient list is super great, the lather is amazing, and harvested seaweed grows back quickly. If you love luxury bath items, I sincerely recommend this as a cheap indulgence. My other favorite shower gel costs five times as much, but if I had to give up one of them, it wouldn't be the seaweed. Love this stuff." —M. Kaiserin
