    1. A Book of the Month subscription to help take the guesswork out of pick your next read. Each month, you'll choose from a selection of great books you want delivered. If nothing strikes your interest, you can save your credit and apply it towards a future month instead.

Bek O'Connell / BuzzFeed, Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

A few of my colleagues swear by their Book of the Month subscriptions like Bek O'Connell whose glowing review is listed below, and Rachel Dunkel who wrote an entire post about it! Check out Rachel's article to learn more about this amazing book subscription!

Promising review: "When I first heard about Book of the Month Club, I was skeptical. I can figure out what to read on my own, tyvm! But it's more than just 'let this company send you a random book.' You get to pick one of five books each month (or skip a month if nothing calls to you) and then you get a nice hardcover book in the mail. My favorite so far has been Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo: a fantasy thriller that imagines what it would be like if Yale's secret societies actually dabbled in black magic. I devoured it in almost one sitting. If you love ghosts, a reluctant Scooby gang, and a scathing critique of Ivy League classism, I highly recommend this engrossing read." —Bek O'Connell, BuzzFeed Editor

Subscribe to Book of the Month for $14.99/month.

Promising review: "Like many, many others in 2020, I decided to give coloring a try — and this coloring book brought me SO much joy in the midst of the pandemic. As a '90s baby who is obsessed with the whole nostalgia trend, I was delighted to flip through and find all of the BEST cartoons from my childhood: Rocket Power, Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold, and more. reviewer of the remote control wand

Operates with any IR device, including televisions, Blu-ray players, and speakers. You can program up to nine gestures. Requires two AAA batteries, which aren't included.

Promising review: "Received this as a Christmas gift, and OH MY DARK LORD, I'M HOOKED! After a trial-and-error period, and a well-spoken Alohomora spell, (and handing it over to my 20-year-old son), we figured out how to program the commands. Surprise! No one had Confunded us — it was a matter of reading ALL the directions versus trying to 'Ron Weasley' the situation with random whacking motions towards the TV. (Seriously — I heard Hermione's voice: 'Stop! Stop! Stop! You're going to take someone's eye out! Besides, you're saying it wrong. It's LeviOsa, not LevioSA.') Now, with a Flourish (and Blotts) that would make Ollivander proud, voilà — my TV comes on, and with a Flitwick-approved 'Swish and Flick,' I've changed the channel. But wait, that's not all — with the twist of the Obliviate spell — volume up or down. Accio Happiness & Avada Kedavra old remote! I'm so happy I could... I could.. I could kiss Trevor!!! Well, a chocolate frog at least." —teemarie

And at $68, they're a total steal given how high-quality they are. I usually wear them for low-impact workouts, like Pilates and yoga (and lounging on the couch), but they didn't let me down during high-impact HIIT cardio classes either. It's also so stylish, roomy, has a thousand pockets (goodbye purse!) and looks different from all the rest out there." —Zhure

Sometimes I just keep them in my work area to light them up during the day to feel fancy. This is good for cleaning pores and removing blackheads!

Promising review: "I first saw this on Facebook and thought it was cool, but not realistic. Well, let me tell you it's the best $10 I've ever spent! It's so fun! I put the clay on my face and it bubbled within 30 seconds of putting it on. Once I got it all over I could hear and feel the bubbles, and watching it bubble up was cool. I couldn't stop laughing! You know it's time to wash it off when it stops bubbling, and taking it off was just as fun as putting it on. It has also left my face feeling soft, and you could see a difference in my face. My skin looked healthier, felt healthier. I did put moisturizer on after because I live in the northeast and right now it's dry and cold and my face is dry, but I don't think I really needed to. This stuff is legit!" —Hollie Lalene

    19. A pair of Apple AirPods to allow you to listen to your favorite music, shows/movies, podcasts, books, and more without the hassle of a wire in your way.

reviewer holding white airpods in white charging case

"I am a recent AirPods customer, and am here to vouch for why these wireless headphones make for an awesome, useful gift. For starters, I will say that I was very hesitant about splurging on AirPods. I already had the wired Apple headphones, and splurged a couple years ago on these super cushiony Beats headphones — the last thing I needed were AirPods.

Alas, Amazon had a good deal on them on Black Friday, so I purchased them, and after a week of use, I'm already wondering why I waited so long to buy them. It's truly wonderful not having to worry about untangling a wire, or there even being a wire separating my earbuds and my device. When I wanna go for a walk, I no longer (literally) feel tied to my phone. When I'm sitting down at my laptop doing work, and need to get up and stretch or walk around the room for a minute, I don't need to take my headphones out or bring my laptop with me. Plus, one of the features I love about these, is that whatever audio you're listening to automatically stops when you take them out of your ears. They also automatically turn on when you start wearing them. So, basically, they're magical, and I love them, and I highly recommend them!" —Sam Wieder (aka, ME!)

    Price: $124.99
