    1. Dishwasher cleaning tablets so the machine you rely on to clean the things you use to eat isn't gunking them up even more.

    amazon.com

These tablets remove odor-causing residue and help get rid of lime and mineral build-up that naturally occurs inside dishwashers. The tablet is designed to last throughout the entire wash cycle, and is recommended for use about once a month. These are safe to use in stainless-steel tub and plastic tub dishwashers.

Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher due to super cloudy glasses, residue, and just not getting clean. Then, I became aware that the water softener no longer was doing its job, so I had the rental company replace it. Dishwasher performance improved somewhat. I decided to do two more loads before deciding to purchase a new one. Then I saw a product test review for Affresh in a magazine. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I added that to my order. When it came, I tossed one of the tablets into the bottom of the full machine, and ran the regular cycle. I did not expect the results I got! My glassware that I thought was permanently etched and ruined came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I will use this faithfully on a monthly basis, as recommended. I can even put it on my subscribe and save order, so I will get a new pack every six months. I am amazed!" —Sheila

Promising review: "I have been using bleach to clean my machine for some time, but decided to give this a try a few months ago. My very first clean with Affresh left me surprised and delighted, for not only did it clean my machine, it eliminated the nasty smell that always transferred to my clothes thanks to a build-up of mold I didn't even know about. Every month now, I toss a tablet into the drum and let it work its magic. Now, my machine is cleaner than ever, and my clothes always smell wonderfully fresh. I highly recommend this to everyone." —Kelli Crawford

    3. Water bottle cleaning tablets to get your beloved drinking bottle back to the condition it was in when you first fell in love with it at the store. I, for one, don't feel like taking a brush and soap and scrubbing away, and I'm going to make a fair assumption that you don't want to either.

    amazon.com

Tablets are biodegradable, chlorine-free, all-natural, and environmentally safe. They're individually packaged, and don't require any additional brushing or scrubbing. Good for use on stainless-steel bottles, mugs, hydration reservoirs, coolers, dishes, and hard-to-clean plastic containers and bottles.

Promising review: "I seriously can't believe how well these little tablets work. I had the most disgusting HydroFlask coffee mug — I tried everything. A bottle brush, different kinds of soap, vinegar, EVERYTHING, and there was still a seemingly impenetrable layer of black sludge inside. I let a tablet sit in each of my mugs for an hour or two, and the black sludge rinsed out COMPLETELY, without even scrubbing. They look brand-new. What a magical product. No weird smell or taste afterward, either. I liked it so much I used it on another HydroFlask I use primarily to hold my Bloody Mary mix in the fridge. I couldn't put anything else in it because it would always taste like spicy tomato juice. Bottle Bright to the rescue! No residual smell or taste anymore. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I have used every product that you can find on the shelves of your local store. When I sprayed the cleaner on the light beige interior of a 25-plus-year-old car, the interior turned to its original color. After years of detailing, I had assumed at this point, the color was set and that's it — not with this stuff. While cleaning it I literally said out loud, 'No way, no way,' because I was in disbelief at how amazing it worked, and the results are in the compliments I receive from friends." —Andrea Garcia

But this definitely got in all the little nooks and crannies." —Kimberly

    9. A keyboard cleaner and a screen cleaner to help clean away crumbs and dust particles from your tech items.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I've tried both of these and I'm a little obsessed with using them! The three-in-one deep cleaning set has a handy microfiber cloth in a pouch, a firm-bristle brush to for crusted-on gunk (we all eat lunch at our laptops, admit it), and, my personal favorite, a clever pipe cleaner-like brush to get between your keys. I'm even more obsessed with the double-ended brush, which has a microfiber tip on one side and the WORLD'S SOFTEST retractable bristles on the other. Like, I use this thing more as a fidget toy and for petting the bristles than for cleaning. It's (understandably) backordered till mid-month, but I ordered a couple that'll show up in time for Christmas as stocking stuffers. My laptop is so gross that it's a little past hope, but these tools have definitely helped make clearing out crumbs easier and cleaning my computer more fun. I even use them on the rest of my desk!" —Katy Herman, BuzzFeed Editor

Get them from Amazon: the keyboard deep clean set for $9.99, and the laptop and screen cleaner for $9.99.

Promising review: "This stuff is absolutely AMAZING. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. We have two dogs that jumped up and scratched places, we also had an area that was damaged by water spots where our dog bowls were, and several other areas that were just worn from heavy traffic. This stuff was like a magic eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand new. I'm buying a couple more so we can finish our cabinets and wood paneling. We're so glad we found this product." —Kris

Promising review: "I bought this on a whim because my walk-in shower is just a pain to clean. I'm 51 and I guess I've just been old school with how I clean, so I was hand scrubbing it for years. The FIRST time I used this to clean my shower, it took five minutes AND it scrubbed my shower cleaner than it has been in years. In the corners, the floor, the glass door, everything came out squeaky clean. I'm NEVER cleaning my shower by hand again." —Terry

Get it from Amazon for $12.70+ (available in six colors).

It works well against rust stains, tarnish, mineral deposits, soap scum, and indoor and outdoor grime, and is especially good on the following surfaces: stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper alloys, aluminum, ceramic, porcelain, glass, Corian. Recommended to use in the kitchen (sinks, cookware, stove cooktops and exteriors, oven door windows, non-stone countertops, and plates to buff out knife marks), bathroom (sinks, bathtubs, showers, faucets, toilets, tile, and grout), and outdoors (rust stains, grills, vehicles, siding, and sporting equipment).

Promising review: "I was so bummed when I scratched up my pretty white sink with pots and pans. I thought I'd need to have it replaced or try to sand it and refinish it somehow, but I bought this stuff as a last ditch effort to fix it myself. It takes some elbow grease to make them go away, the scratches don't just wipe off. But if you scrub at them for a few minutes they melt away pretty quickly. After two rounds my sink looks nearly brand-new again. It also worked on a few mineral stains in my bathtub that I thought were permanent after soft scrub failed to remove them. Again, a little of this stuff, the scrubby side of a blue sponge, a little bit of effort and they were gone!" —Dan Borden

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $19.99.

This cleaner is bleach-free!

Promising review: "This stuff is like magic! Straight up wizardry. I love it! I initially bought it to clean my sink, which is porcelain, and even though it's not even a year old, is just holding on to all the coffee and tea staining. I'd say it took less than a minute after making a paste with Bar Keepers Friend to clean the sink up to a nearly new shine. Taking a look at the can, it's easy to find bunches of ways to use this stuff and each application is better than the last. Stainless steel, porcelain, ceramic, copper, brass, fiberglass, corian, chrome, and aluminum. See? Magic! Anyhow, I've used it in the sink, in the bathroom, to clean stainless steel pots and pans, on a 17-year-old Revereware tea kettle, (which I thought would never be restored to its former loveliness, BTW). Promising review: "I hate washing my brushes, I've always done it by hand and it's always caused the big fluffy powder brushes to feel rougher or become matted no matter how hard I try to reshape them. I got this solution and used it with a makeup brush spinner (I used the Mevolic one), and I couldn't BELIEVE how amazing my brushes were afterwards! I also have insanely sensitive skin and most any soap I put on a brush will cause me to breakout when I use it later, no matter how well I typically rinse it. But I really think that this cleaner and the brush spinner worked great and I haven't had any sensitive bumps on my skin since using them." —Chelsea

Get it from Amazon for $6.44.

    15. A pet hair roller because everything about our little fluffy friends is absolutely perfect except for the fact that their fur and hair gets on everything we own. But we still love them, right?

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Where has this been all my cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20 pound tabby and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing – he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care; it's THAT good." —Stephanie

Promising review: "I had terrible rust and oil stains all over the seats of my car when I bought it. I tried other cleaners to get it out, but they actually made the stains darker. I took it to the dealership to see if they could get it out and they flat out told me no, so I gave up and lived with it for almost five years. I tried this after it was recommended by a friend. amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "This thing just plain works. We got a mature golden retriever last year and were told he didn't shed. Then in the spring he started shedding badly. We were tired of hair everywhere and somehow I realized that dragging my shoe across the carpet balled the hair up. I found this product on a whim one day and knew it had to be better than my shoe! I ordered it and it was tough at first. The bristles pulled the hair up but then caught the tufts and spread them around. I found that using short quick strokes with the rake turned upside down got the best results. It's not like I'm really terrible at cleaning my toilet, but twisting my arm in an awkward way to get to all the parts of a toilet that I want can be tricky. These fizz up enough to where I can know that what needs to get coated is getting coated, OK?! Also, it's all-natural. Amazon

Comes with four packets. The biodegradable packet cleans/scrubs away at grime and odor that cause build-up and yucky smells on sidewalls, blades, under the splashguard, and other hidden areas. They come in pre-measured drop-in packets and are recommended to use about once a week!

Promising review: "It seems counterintuitive to put a little packet down your garbage disposal to clean it, but this does actually seem to work, at least for getting out weird smells that baking soda and vinegar don't really touch. I scrub the sink down first, especially around the garbage disposal area, rinse it down, and then just follow the directions on the package. I have used it with single, large-size sinks and with double sinks — only difference is that the double sink will have blue cleaning foam rise up the drain, which you rinse away when the disposal sounds clear again. I have tried the foaming cleaner in a can, but unfortunately it stopped coming out of the can about 10% of the way through. Went back to this tried-and-true." —KS

Get it from Amazon for $4.10.

Promising review: "Holy wizardry! Seriously it was more work to clean the mirror over the vanity than use this product. With almost no effort, this made my dark orange, iron-water shower stall white again. I definitely suggest wearing a mask or bandana and running the ventilation fan if spraying in an enclosed area. Great product!" —Jessica B

Promising review: "This little device is great. Super simple. Fill to the lines with vinegar and water, nuke for seven minutes, let sit for two minutes, then wipe clean. My embarrassingly super gross microwave wiped completely clean with a couple paper towels. Highly recommend." —UglyPetty

Promising review: "This is absolutely worth every penny. Kudos to the inventor of this product. I have thick long dark hair, and after two months of moving into my own apartment, my shower drain was completely clogged with all my hair. After being disgusted at the amount of hair I had to clean out with a snake (which is NOT a fun task), I decided I needed to purchase something to prevent it from happening again. I read about this product in a BuzzFeed article, and I have no regrets. It is so satisfying to clean out, and it does not lie when it says it catches every single hair. I have had it for close to four months without once instance of my shower drain backing up. This product is absolutely worth it." —JT

Promising review: "These things are AMAZING. They are magical. If you have a pet that has accidents in the house, these are a MUST HAVE. After your pet has an accident, all you need to do is open up the packet, place the pad on the accident spot, and then step on the pad to release the magic formula. Leave it there for at least a half an hour or up to 24 hours. Why the discrepancy, you might be asking? Because these pads work on DRIED STAINS. Holla!!!! My puppy has been driving me bonkers with accidents in the house, but I don't sweat it anymore thanks to these pads. They are seriously miracle workers and I will always have a supply of them in my house going forward." —Lisa Koivu

These are machine washable (recommended to use a delicates laundry bag), although for longer shelf life, it's best to hand wash and air dry. They can be reused up to 120 times (maybe a little more). And hey, did you know that one roll of these bamboo towels replaces 60 conventional paper towel rolls? Not only is that saving the environment, but that is saving a nice chunk of cash money in your wallet. Margaritas on you, I guess?

Promising review: "I love this. These are great for those times you need a paper towel but don't want to create all the waste to throw it out. They're definitely a lot thicker than a normal paper towel, but function just as well for being easy to crumple up or soak up liquid. I've found these especially helpful for tasks that used to waste a lot of paper towels because towels didn't work for it: like cleaning the litter box, cleaning the bathroom, placing in the microwave to catch spills, cleaning up pet messes, and so on. I've already run some of them through the wash probably five to seven times and they remain just as useful as before." —Caz
