Slasher. An anthology series (like American Horror Story) that is a giant improvement on slasher films. Since it’s a tv show you get motivations and developed characters instead of stereotypes and cliches found in the early slasher movies.
Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Temblay. The less you know going into it, the better. Daughter becomes possessed and they have a reality tv show document the whole thing. Speaks about mental illness, tv exploitation, and obsessive culture.
Screw Milo and Otis. The film is nice, but there was a ton of animal cruelty involved in the filmmaking. And allegations that 20 kittens were killed during shooting was never challenged or debunked. I'm not going to believe it was that many because then I'll be extremely sad. But…
