1. To start, Emma Stone will be taking on the iconic role of Cruella de Vil. She was most recently seen in Zombieland: Double Tap, Maniac, and The Favourite.

2. Disney fans got their first glimpse of Cruella back in 2019 during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
Here’s your first look at Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil in Disney's Cruella. The film, also starring Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry, comes to theaters May 28, 2021. #D23Expo
3. Cruella is going to be a prequel film in the 101 Dalmatians franchise.

4. Stone's fresh take will follow Glenn Close's portrayal of the classic character. She played Cruella back in 1996's 101 Dalmatians and the 2000 sequel, 102 Dalmatians.
