But the brush is totally not necessary — I just applied it with my gloved hands. I didn't exactly follow the directions and it STILL WORKED. Really well. But because I really ~massaged~ it into my hair and left it on longer (45+ minutes) than I "should" have, it faded to the colour on the box after two or three washes, which totally works for me because I loved the stronger pink colour AND the faded pastel. Promising review: "This baby has a watery formula that dries matte, so it's more like a tint in nature than lipstick, BUT the pigment is opaque, which is important because I still want it to *look* like a lipstick. It feels practically weightless on the lips. My lips are perpetually dry, so I hate lipsticks that settle into my lines and make their presence known — but no issues here at all.

It also has a flat but slanted-at-the-top applicator, aka the perfect fit for the cupid's bow, which sometimes gets tricky with normal doe applicators.
