27 Cool & Random Things You Can Probably Afford

Basically an assortment of things that recently made me say "ooh!"

    1. A book of scratch-off cityscapes for a whole new level beyond adult coloring books. Chrissy Teigen tweeted about loving these and now I'm obsessed. Just look at that cool ~in progress~ photo on the right.

    2. A Schitt's Creek tee you can wear to inspire your perfect imitation of Alexis's flawless "ew, Deevit!"

    3. A pack of microneedle pimple patches designed specially for emerging, active, and cystic acne. The super-thin (thinner than a strand of hair) needles penetrate the blemish, delivering ingredients like salicylic acid and tea tree oil below the surface of the skin to combat acne where it lives — plus hyaluronic acid to prevent over-drying.

    4. A sloth to-do notepad to make everyday tasks a little more cheerful. Is "take a nap" an important thing to get done? Absolutely.

    5. An outdoor lounger for anyone who doesn't like carrying around a heavy beach chair but *also* doesn't like sitting on a beach towel without any back support. And the fold-over section has a zippered pocket to store all your stuff!

    6. A sturdy but cute felt purse organizer with tons of pockets for your phone, earbuds, cosmetics, hand sanitizer, Kindle, and all the other *must-haves* you don't want to leave in the bag you used yesterday.

    7. A pair of Mr. Rogers socks for anyone who ALSO cried at the new trailer for Tom Hanks's upcoming portrayal of our favorite neighbor.

    8. An ice roller that'll cool your overheated, dripping-sweat face — and it has some great skincare benefits, too!

    9. A multifunctional cutting board with two sides: both are at an angle with a raised lid to catch breadcrumbs, sauce, juices, etc — use the side with the 3D grips to hold meat in place for carving and the other side for non-meat items (slicing bread, cutting fruit, etc).

    10. A lil' tin of breath mints that'll pack a big punch of energy — that's right, there's 40mg of caffeine per mint! Plus a complex of vitamins.

    11. A minimalist silverware tray that'll help you save drawer space, make emptying the dishwasher easier and keep the cutlery for becoming ~clutter-ly~.

    12. A campfire-shaped air plant pot so you can achieve two things at once: 1. keep something alive on your desk for once (air plants are truly easy to maintain!) and 2. daydream about s'mores when the 3 p.m. slump hits.

    13. Busy Beauty's showerless shave gel for anyone who (like me) 1. chooses to shave their legs and 2. forgets to do so EVERY DANG TIME they're in the shower.

    14. Two pairs of self-tying shoelaces so you can head out the door for a quick jog or grocery run *truly* quickly — just slip them through the loops of any lace-up shoe and slip 'em on your feet.

    15. A pearl sunglasses chain so you can enjoy a little '50s style AND never lose your favorite sunnies *or* stretch them out by wearing them like a headband. It's a win-win.

    16. A steering wheel desk tray that'll help you get a little work done or actually *enjoy* your drive-through meal once you've pulled to the side of the road. No more dipping + driving — your nuggs deserve better.

    17. A pair of cactus-shaped dryer balls whose prickles will ensure your laundry dries quicker and gets softer than ever. Those towels that take FOR-E-VER (The Sandlot voice) to dry? No more.

    18. A set of vine string lights to add a dose of greenery *and* ambiance to your space. How cool with these look draped over your headboard?!

    19. A collection of Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat prints for adding both style and information to your kitchen walls.

    20. A jar of Nip + Fab Daily Cleansing Pads with 2.8% glycolic acid for gentle chemical exfoliation, revealing brighter and clearer skin every day — plus hyaluronic acid for moisture and witch hazel to tone and soothe.

    21. A bottle of Chamberlain's Leather Milk conditioner to bring new life to your furniture, shoes, handbags and more. It's like a time machine for dull, scratched, or dried-out leather, is what I'm saying.

    22. A crystal- or pearl-emblazoned barette you can personalize with your name, initials, or just your favorite word to add some flair to your hair.

    23. A Benedryl cream reviewers swear by to stop itching and discomfort after mosquito bites, sunburns, and hives. If you've got that sweet, sweet mosquito blood, you need to keep this in the house.

    24. A happy little bird hand sanitizer to make that icky I've-touched-too-many-doorknobs feeling a thing of the past. And it just looks cute sitting on your desk or hanging in your purse!

    25. A Lion King x Asos tee with luau Timon printed on the upper-left corner for anyone who always has that song stuck in their head. "Aaaaaare you achin'? (Yup yup yup) Forrrrrrr some bacon? (Yup yup yup)."

    26. A stylish faux leather remote organizer that'll make the endless searching (Roku? TV? game console? speaker system? it never ends) over once and for all.

    27. A handy-dandy plate cover to keep food-plosions from splattering the inside of your microwave (looking at you, tomato sauce and baked beans!). It has magnets on top, so you can store it *in* the microwave between uses so your fam never forgets to cover their food again.

Update: still singing this in my head.
