I’ve never understood the argument. I’m assuming if you love your child, you’d rather they be healthy and autistic over very sick or dead. But maybe that’s just me projecting

The reason so many kids have autism now is because we have a better understanding of it and it’s easier to identify. Kids that would’ve just been “behavior problems” years ago are now getting proper diagnosis and help
