Jughead Jones Might Actually Have A Twin, And Here's The Theory To Prove It

Let's flashback to the Season 3 cliffhanger, where you may recall Archie, Veronica, and Betty threw Jughead's hat into the fire.

Well recently, the cast revealed that Cole Sprouse actually wasn't in the scene because he was too cold to film — which brought back all hope that Jughead was alive and well.

But last week's episode made me think differently. And as much as I LOVE Riverdale, I do not love thinking that Jughead Jones might actually be dead!!!

ICYMI, last week we got this flash forward shot of Betty and FP at the Coroner's Office, identifying a body that looks verrrrrrry much like Jughead.

But listen to this: After a little digging into the Archie Comics universe, this Reddit user learned that Jughead actually has an identical twin cousin, named Nathan.

Comic book Jughead also has a younger cousin named Souphead who looks and dresses up just like the real Jughead.

And isn't just a liiiiiiiiiiiittle bit convenient that Cole Sprouse actually has an identical twin?!

What if this reveal isn't actually Jughead at all, but actually just Dylan Sprouse playing Nathan? Or even Souphead???

And even if it's not Dylan, maybe Cole's playing his own twin himself!!!

But alas, we can't possibly know for sure until we see the rest of Season 4.

So here's to hoping that there's some truth to this theory and that Jughead survives another season!
