The 14 Most Indisputable Fan Theories Of 2014

1. Frozen, Tangled, and The Little Mermaid all exist within the universe. / Via

Anna and Elsa's parents were on their way to Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding when their ship sank (the same ship where Ariel hunts for treasures in The Little Mermaid), which is why Rapunzel and Eugene appear at Elsa's coronation in Frozen.

2. One of the snuff filmmakers in Elsa's storyline of AHS: Freakshow is a young Dr. Arden from AHS: Asylum.

Dr. Arden's backstory featured him as a Nazi doctor in WWII, and he did, after all cut off Shelley's (Chloë Sevigny) legs in Asylum which is exactly what the snuff filmmakers did to Elsa in her Freakshow flashback.

3. Calhoun's backstory in Wreck-It Ralph is even more tragic than you thought because she doesn't kill the cybug who eats her husband, she kills the mutated version of her husband that the cybug immediately starts evolving into.

Remember what happened to King Candy after he was eaten by a cybug? Girl had to straight up murder her husband on her wedding day.

4. And speaking of American Horror Story, the first season might actually be the movie Casper.

5. Peter Pan was actually angel who led the Lost Boys to heaven/Neverland. That's why the Lost Boys never grew up, they were already dead.

6. Frozen and The Shining are actually the same movie.

7. (Also so are Frozen and The Lion King)

8. As if Up wasn't sad enough, one fan theory speculates that Carl's already dead and that Russell is Carl's guardian angel trying to guide him into the afterlife.

9. Move over Jon Snow because Tyrion Lannister might be a surprise Targaryen as well.

And if you read through the whole theory, this one makes a ton of sense. Dragons born of blood.

10. Also Game Of Thrones and The Princess Bride are totally the same dang thing.

11. After realizing toys are sentient in Toy Story, Sid grows up to be a garbageman so he can save toys from their untimely demise.

12. And speaking of Toy Story, Andy's mom might have been Jessie's original owner.

13. Wall-e dismantled all the other Wall-e units because they were compacting his potential treasures. That's why the Earth is still buried under garbage after 700 years, because there's only been one unit doing the work of hundreds of thousands.

Disney / Via

And with all those spare parts, Wall-e's been able to keep himself running by cannabalizing his murdered comrades for parts.

14. Trewlaney's prophecy actually means Harry Potter is immortal, and will never be reunited with his parents.
