Earlier this month we were lucky enough to interview the X-Men: Apocalypse cast, including James McAvoy. We asked him questions to find out more about the cast, like this one.
He revealed that Sophie Turner, aka Jean Grey, always breaks out into song on the X-Men set – with a particular song she made up called "I'm Gonna Make Your Pussy Pop." Yep, really.
When asked who sings the most on set, James told us: "Sophie Turner. With a very particular song. Are you speaking to her later?" When we told him we would be speaking to her next, he added: "OK, it’s a song called 'I’m Gonna Make Your Pussy Pop'. It’s an original song by Sophie Turner."
So naturally we immediately asked Sophie to embellish on what the song was. And she went one better and sang it for us.
And she revealed James actually joins in by making the pop noise with his mouth.
And it turns out it's become their special in-joke. When MovieZine interviewed Sophie the same week, she asked the reporter to ask James this question with no explanation.
"Ask him who makes his pussy pop. Just ask him."
Which of course made him burst out laughing.
But he remained coy with his answer, only saying this.
But now we know. 😂
