1. Will Smith and Janet Hubert: Resolved
Will Smith and Janet Hubert from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air had strong creative differences from the start of the series. Allegedly, Hubert and Smith argued all the time behind the scenes, and it was a battle between two actors who wanted the spotlight. Hubert allegedly made the filming environment uncomfortable for everyone, so she was replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid in Season 4. Smith said in 1993: "I can say that Janet Hubert wanted the show to be The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air because I know she's going to dog me in the press. She has basically gone from a quarter of a million dollars a year to nothing. She's mad now, but she's been mad all along."
During the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's 30th anniversary reunion show in 2020, Will Smith and Janet Hubert cleared the air and resolved their decades-long feud. "There was some friction because I was pregnant [in Season 3], home life was not good at all," Hubert said. "I was no longer laughing, smiling, [or] joking because there were things that were going on that nobody knew about." Smith admitted he made the set difficult during Season 3 because he didn't take Hubert's pregnancy seriously. "I wasn't sensitive — I wasn't perceptive," Smith said. "Now that I've had three kids, I learned some things that I did not know at the time, and I would do things very differently today."
2. Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker: Unresolved
Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall's feud allegedly began while filming Sex and the City, with Cattrall claiming in 2004 that they weren't friends — they were "professional actresses." Things only continued to escalate through the years and became more public in the late 2010s. When Kim Cattrall's brother died in 2018 and Parker showed her support, Cattrall called Parker out in front of everyone on Instagram: "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time, @sarahjessicaparker." Cattrall didn't want to film a third Sex and the City movie, and allegedly wasn't asked to be a part of And Just Like That..., the show's 2022 reboot.
There hasn't been much communication between the two actors, save for separate interviews in the press. Since And Just Like That... was released in 2022, fans wondered why Cattrall didn't revive her iconic character Samantha Jones. "I would have preferred for [Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and myself] to have some kind of event to warrant a third film. That didn't happen — but also, I was ready," Cattrall told Variety in 2022. "As difficult as it was, and as scary as it is to stand up and not be bullied by the press or the fans or whomever, to just say: 'I'm good. I'm on this track. It was so great working with you. I so enjoyed it, but I'm over here.'"
Sarah Jessica Parker shared her perspective on her feud with Kim Cattrall on the Awards Chatter podcast in 2022. "We didn't ask her to be part of [And Just Like That...] because she made it clear that that wasn't something she wanted to pursue," Parker said. "You've got to listen to somebody, and if they're publicly talking about something and it doesn't suggest it's someplace they want to be (or a person they want to play [with]), you get to an age where you're like: 'Well, we hear that.'"
3. Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber: Resolved
When Justin Bieber got engaged to Hailey Bieber just a couple months after breaking up with Selena Gomez, it raised a lot of eyebrows. Since 2018, there's been an unspoken drama between Gomez and Hailey Bieber, and from time to time, they've had to clear the air about the status of their relationship.
In 2022, Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber were photographed together at the Academy Museum Gala in October, which left many people curious. In separate interviews, they clarified what happened between them and put their feud behind them. "I respect [Selena] — there's no drama personally. It's all respect, it's all love," Bieber recently said on her podcast. They had a private one-on-one conversation, which Bieber got "a lot of peace" from. After they posed for the picture together, Gomez didn't think it was a huge deal — she told Vulture: "It's not even a thing."
4. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj: Unresolved
In 2017, Nicki Minaj insulted up and coming rapper Cardi B in her verse on "Swish Swish." Disrespecting Cardi B in Minaj's songs became a pattern, even in "MotorSport" (a song both artists were featured on later that year). Cardi refused to be filmed with Minaj in the music video unless she removed the original diss lyrics: "If Cardi B the QB, I'm Mick Lombardi." Minaj changed her verse, but they were never filmed in the same shot. Things came to a head at the Met Gala in 2018 when Cardi B allegedly threw a shoe at Minaj.
In 2022, they still aren't on good terms. In October, Cardi B had a feud on Twitter with City Girls' JT, and Nicki Minaj defended her "Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)" collaborator JT. Minaj changed her profile on Instagram to JT and made subtweets about Cardi B on Twitter, which inspired Cardi B to change her profile picture on Instagram to Remy Ma (who's had an infamous feud with Nicki Minaj). So, unfortunately, the girls are still fighting.

5. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry: Resolved
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's feud from the 2010s has a ton of layers, so it's hard to decipher when it exactly started. Perry started an on-again off-again relationship with John Mayer in 2012, a few years after Swift dated him. Then, in 2013, a few of Swift's backup dancers from her Red tour left to join Perry's Prismatic World tour. They continued to fuel the fire when Swift released "Bad Blood" (a diss track about Perry) in 2014, and Perry responded with "Swish Swish" in 2017.
In Taylor Swift's 2019 music video "You Need to Calm Down," Swift and Perry seemed to put their infamous feud behind them. They embraced dressed up as a hamburger and French fries, two foods that pair extremely well together (which is what the status of their relationship is now). "It just was really, really clear that we remembered how much we had in common," Swift said in an interview in 2019. "Both of us have been in a really good place for a while, but I don't know if either of us knew if we were gonna talk about it publicly."
6. John Legend and Kanye West: Unresolved
In the 2000s, John Legend and Kanye West developed a music relationship when Legend was featured on West's 2004 album The College Dropout, and when West produced Legend's 2004 debut album Get Lifted. They developed a meaningful friendship over the years, with Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen and West's ex-wife Kim Kardashian even becoming friends. But, when West ran for president in 2020, his friendship with Legend started to dissolve.
Recently, John Legend revealed to the New Yorker that West was angry that he didn't support him when he ran in the 2020 presidential election. "He was very upset with me that I didn't support him running for president, and that was the real impetus for us having a strain in our friendship," said Legend. "I don't know what will happen in the future, but he was very upset with me that I didn't support him and I supported Joe Biden. It's up to him whether he can get past that." West even posted their private text messages on social media without Legend's consent.
7. Gabrielle Union and Jada Pinkett Smith: Resolved
For 17 years, Gabrielle Union and Jada Pinkett Smith had a feud — both actors weren't even 100% sure how the feud started. In 2018, Smith invited Union on Red Table Talk to clear the air and put the past behind them. In the beginning of the segment, Smith said: "Gabrielle and I were never really girlfriends — we were great associates that at some point dissolved. We don't even know [what we were mad about]. We got on the phone, and I was like: 'Gabrielle, what happened?!' and she's like: 'Girl, I don't know!'"
The two actors had an open conversation with each other, revealing their friendship dynamics with other women and the importance of lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down. "This is my year of growth — in my life, I'm just cleaning up a lot of stuff, and you were one of them," Smith told Union. "Having this moment with you is helping me in that process." Union responded with: "I told you on the phone it was like a gorilla hopped off my back that I didn't know was there." They ended their conversation on good terms, with Smith saying: "I hope from here on out that we have a bond, and you know you can call on me. Thank you for being open to this."
8. Mariah Carey and Eminem: Unresolved
The infamous feud between Mariah Carey and Eminem started in the early 2000s when Eminem claimed he had a romantic relationship with Carey. He addressed the rumor in his 2002 song "Superman," rapping lyrics like: "What you tryin' to be, my new wife? What you Mariah, fly through twice." The two artists went back and forth against each other in their song lyrics for years. Carey said over and over and OVER again that they never had a romantic relationship, while Eminem persisted they did.
Mariah Carey had the ultimate rebuttal when she released "Obsessed" in 2009, dressing up as Eminem to further prove his ridiculous claims and his harmful lyrics about the status of their relationship. She sang lyrics like: "All up in the blogs saying we met at the bar, when I don't even know who you are. / Saying we up in your house, saying I'm up in your car — but you in LA, and I'm out at Jermaine's." This song was nothing short of iconic, and it seems like Mariah Carey has no intention of ending her feud with Eminem (which is 200% valid, considering how badly he's mistreated her for two decades).

9. And finally, Lady Gaga and Madonna: Resolved
When Lady Gaga released "Born This Way" in 2011, Madonna accused her of copying her 1989 hit "Express Yourself." Madonna's been known for criticizing Gaga's music career, calling it "reductive" and claiming that Gaga "[Makes a] statement about taking something that was in the Zeitgeist 20 years ago, and turning it inside out and reinterpreting it."

At the 2019 Oscars, Lady Gaga and Madonna embraced behind the scenes in a very loving photo. Madonna also uploaded a photo onto her Instagram to celebrate Gaga's win for Best Original Song for "Shallow," with a caption that read: "Don't Mess with Italian Girls." From an outsider's perspective, it looks like they've made up after their decade-long feud, but we can't 100% confirm the true nature of their relationship.
