They blend in with your 'do and actually stay in place as you ~do~ your thing, unlike the fabric-covered elastics you've been using every day since middle school — trust me, you're never going back.
Personally, I plan on never using any hair ties other than these for as long as I live. They're marketed as "traceless," or that they won't leave a crease, but if you have your hair up for a long time, I think there's gonna be a crease no matter what. That's not what I like about them. For me, it's all about the comfort and the GRIP. I can just put my hair up with it and forget about it the rest of the day, without adjusting it a zillion times.
