    It's Been 9 Years Since "The Hunger Games" Came Out, So Here's What The Cast Looks LIke Now

    Spoiler alert: Everyone is THRIVING.

    1. Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen

    Then: The girl on fire!

    Now: The four-time Oscar nominee (and one-time winner) has starred in major movies, including The Silver Linings Playbook, The X-Men franchise, American Hustle, Passengers, and Joy. Her most recent movie was 2019's Dark Phoenix, but she has four projects in the works, including Bad Blood, in which she plays Elizabeth Holmes.

    2. Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark

    Then: The love triangle victor.

    Now: In his post-Peeta life, Josh's most recent starring role was on Hulu's Future Man — starring as Josh Futturman on all three seasons of the show.

    3. Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne

    Now: Most recently, Liam starred on Quibi's Most Dangerous Game and has also appeared in movies like Isn't It Romantic? and Independence Day: Resurgence.

    Then: The host of the Hunger Games!

    Now: What HASN'T Stanley Tucci done, tbh? In the past year alone, he's starred in The Witches, La Fortuna, and Central Park. Plus, he proved that he makes a mean Negroni.

    5. Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen

    Now: Recently, Willow has starred on not one, but two TV series — Netflix's Spinning Out and The Unsettling.

    6. Amandla Stenberg as Rue

    Now: Amandla has been busy in movies like Everything, Everything and The Hate U Give and Netflix's miniseries The Eddy. Up next, Amandla will star in the Dear Evan Hansen movie as Alana Beck.

    Now: Elizabeth Banks has been busy, busy, busy as an actor, director, and producer. Most recently, she starred in Mrs. America as Jill Ruckelshaus.

    8. Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy

    Then: The reluctant mentor...

    Now: After The Hunger Games franchise, Woody starred in movies like The Edge of Seventeen, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Venom, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. His next big films will be The Man From Toronto and Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

    9. Lenny Kravitz as Cinna

    Then: All-around great person who deserved so much better.

    Now: You know, just being Lenny freakin' Kravitz! Lenny released his album Raise Vibration in 2018 and already said he's working on a follow-up.

    10. Leven Rambin as Glimmer

    Now: After Hunger Games, Leven appeared on shows like True Detective, The Path, and Gone. She recently had a role in Netflix's Mank.

    11. Jack Quaid as Marvel

    Now: He has apologized for killing Rue. Jack also stars as Hughie Campbell on Amazon's hit show The Boys and appeared opposite Maya Erskine in the 2019 movie Plus One.

    12. Alexander Ludwig as Cato

    Then: District 2 meanie.

    Now: Alex starred as Bjorn on History Channel's Vikings for six seasons. He also appeared in the 2020 movie Bad Boys for Life.

    13. Isabelle Fuhrman as Clove

    Then: Another District 2 meanie.

    Now: After Hunger Games, Isabelle continued to act in lots of movies and TV shows, including Showtime's Masters of Sex, on which she had a recurring role. She will also reprise her role as Esther from Orphan in the upcoming Orphan: First Kill.

    14. Dayo Okeniyi as Thresh

    Then: District 11 tribute and brief Katniss ally.

    Now: After The Hunger Games, Dayo appeared in movies like The Spectacular Now and Endless Love and starred on NBC's Shades of Blue opposite J.Lo. Up next? Dayo was recently cast as Charles in the Disney+ show Greek Freak, about NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

    15. Jacqueline Emerson as Fox Face

    Then: Forever dubbed "Fox Face" by Katniss.

    Now: Jacqueline has appeared in several shorts as well as the miniseries Wayward Guide.

    16. Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane

    Then: Head Gamemaker who did NOT end up on President Snow's good side.

    Now: Recently, Wes has starred in Mission: Impossible — Fallout, Yellowstone, and American Horror Story.

    17. Donald Sutherland as President Snow

    Now: Donald is still convincing me that he will always play villains, as evidenced by his Critics Choice Award–winning role as Nicole Kidman's father, Franklin, in The Undoing. I will not say anything further in case of spoilers.
