Stanley Tucci Making A Cocktail Is The Most Soothing Thing I've Seen All Day

This is exactly what we needed.

Throughout this quarantine, many celebs — from Martha Stewart to Oprah to Ina Garten — have turned to drinking to cope.

And now Stanley Tucci has joined the trend, sharing perhaps the most soothing video I've seen in a long time.

May this video of Stanley Tucci doing a cocktail masterclass be a blessing upon your twitter feed.

The video begins with his wife Felicity Blunt (yes, Emily's sister!) asking, "What are you going to make me?" Stanley declares, "A Negroni," but needs to get his wine first.

Right off the bat, Stanley declares that he prefers his Negronis shaken — and then he drops a little ice on the floor in his excitement.

Next up, he adds a double shot of gin (but you can use vodka if you prefer), but notes that "double shot" is all relative:

Here's where I remember that Stanley is rich/sophisticated and I am poor/tacky — he shows that a coupe is the appropriate ~glassware~ for the cocktail, but you can also use a martini glass.

    And, voilà! One Negroni!

Then, Stanley Tucci makes some very Stanley Tucci jokes about orange slices, teasing that he buys his oranges presliced. (Don't worry, he doesn't! He's not THAT kind of celeb!)

And just as it's time for him to pass it off to Felicity, he says, "That would never happen!" and takes a gigantic sip.

Seriously, though, watch the whole thing because a lot of the magic is in his narration throughout.

Anyway, this seemingly simple cocktail-making video has made waves around the internet:

And people truly cannot get enough of it:

women only want one thing and its stanley tucci patiently making a cocktail and explaining each step as he does so

I want Stanley Tucci to manhandle me the way he slams down his cocktail ingredients

Stanley Tucci making Felicity Blunt a Negroni is my new religion.

Yes, it even has Captain America's seal of approval:

    I. Love. Stanley. Tucci. On some(most) days after we finished filming on the first Captain America movie, Stanley would make us martinis in his trailer. He’s an absolute gem. However cool, fun, witty, and charming you think he is, double it and you’re halfway there. https://t.co/mEJzuV8oAH
