Jeff Girten is a small-town girl living in a lonely world. By his own admission, Jeff knows that at least some of that statement is true. He is not in fact a girl, and while he is from a small town he doesn’t live in a lonely world. Sometimes it just seems that way, but it’s mostly Seasonal Affective Disorder. Jeff grew up in the suburbs of Chicago where people often called him ‘Hey you’ which was usually followed by the command: ‘get down from there.’ After trying his hand at playing Magic: The Gathering (a year), rapping (15 minutes), and marketing (three months), Jeff eventually realized all those pursuits were fruitless and decided to go to college. There his list of failed pursuits continued to blossom, with such hits as: speech therapy (a semester), sexy beast (his entire adult life), and novelist (three years). The general public calls his time at school a waste of money, but the University of Illinois calls it a Bachelor of Arts in English and Rhetoric. Jeff followed his writing dreams to Los Angeles where he currently works in scripted TV development. He writes, produces, and relentlessly mocks others as much as possible. Some might describe him as a smart ass, but you can call him Jeff.
