My coworker AnaMaria Glavan is passionate about this product. Here's what she had to say:
"Believe the hype: this magic bottle is proof that not all heroes wear capes. The creamy formula, which comes in blond, black, clear, and brown (which is what I used!), goes on smoothly and doesn’t require a lot of product to do the job. I used the wand to brush baby hairs in the beginning/middle of my brow upwards, and then brushed the longer, toddler-like hairs at the end of my eyebrows, sideways. And one coat was more than enough! Boy Brow does what exactly what the Glossier brand claims to do; it gives me a filled-in eyebrow that doesn’t look filled in. The finish looks natural, which is exactly what I wanted — my facial caterpillars have never looked better."
Get it from Glossier for $16 (available in four shades).
I recently used the "Charcoal Skin Detox" mask and loved the way it made my skin feel. It was a nice consistency and had the perfect amount of product in the single-use package. My face felt really firm and moisturized after.

Save this gift for your roomie who is usually asking you to help them pop their nastiest pimples. Avarelle's pimple patches are formulated with tea tree oil and calendula, which is said to heal and shrink zits overnight. A single pack comes with 40 patches in a variety of sizes to fit any pimple you've got.
Promising review: "I’ve tried so many brands of pimple spots, and these are hands-down the best on the market. I’m a performer at Walt Disney World, and a clear complexion is required. Last night, I put these on a few acne problems (a small cyst, a whitehead, and a pimple I shouldn’t have picked and has been a bump for about three weeks now.) I just woke up and am writing this review in disbelief. THEY'RE FLAT! Gone! All of them! I could cry I’m so happy. The packaging is also ideal, because it allows you to conveniently and easily peel the stickers off without stretching them out or folding them back on themselves. Do yourself and your complexion a huge favor! Have these on hand for a stubborn zit when you really need help. Make sure you apply them to completely clean and dry skin." —Caitlyn

Promising review: "This is amazingly moisturizing without feeling like a thick film of product. It’s cooling, moisturizing and absorbs nicely. I’ve been adding a drop or two to my moisturizer and applying in one step at the end of my routines. It doesn’t feel sticky or stay tacky the way my previous hyaluronic acid product did." —Amanda O.

I've tried out Dashing Diva's press-on manicures and was honestly shocked by how natural they looked. They were super simple to apply once I figured out which nail size fit my own best. Everyone I showed them too thought that I had gotten a festive gel manicure and were super surprised when I said they were press-ons!
Get them from Sally Beauty for $8.29.
This my favorite thing to start my pampering with, but I also use it in the morning before I apply any makeup. All you have to do is pop the separate roller piece into your freezer and you'll be ready to de-puff in no time.

My colleague AnaMaria Glavan spoke highly of this mask. She said:
"The black sugar 'seeds' exfoliate the crap (literally) out of your skin and get all the gunk out of your pores, but doesn't dry it out to the point where your forehead is crying “moisturize me” in a hoarse whisper. Plus, the scent of strawberries actually makes my mouth water. It's berry amazing. Ultimately, my skin feels smoother, doesn't feel tight, and looks brighter because of the Vitamin C ingredients. My blackhead-ridden nose is, in particular, forever in debt to this amazing mask."
Get it from Amazon for $10.99.
Promising review: "I love these! I no longer dread putting on my face products. I was using my fingers to apply the product to my face, but it was so messy and got in my nails, too. When I came across these silicone brushes I knew I had to have them. They are amazing and the low price is a steal. These brushes really changed my routine. I use my facial products more often because I'm no longer worried about the annoying mess. The silicone brush is very flexible and spreads the product on my face nicely. Cleaning the brush is a simple task, just rinse and pat dry. Highly recommended!" —Wells Family

Promising review: "My hair is very thin and curly. The ends are damaged from heat and color, causing my hair to look even more unruly. I do oil treatments once a week and only wash my hair two to three times a week but NOTHING has made my hair feel like this product does. There is an immediate difference as soon as this product touches my hair. It leaves my hair feeling so silky, even after I rinse it out and dry my hair." —Maegan W.

Promising review: "Best concealer till time!! Just love the consistency. Can be worn without powder to give a more dewy look! Love the travel size. Medium to high coverage! Would definitely recommend!" —Mehwish K.

Promising review: "Okay, so I am very picky about hair extensions. I've spent hundreds of dollars on numerous sets, and have never been completely satisfied. UNTIL NOW! These are BY FAR my favorite — and for such an amazing price! If you're worried that this deal is too good to be true (because I was) then stop worrying! And buy these extensions. Also, I have very short hair and they still look great! They're very full and luscious. And you can straighten them! I'm very happy!" —Makenzie Long

Promising review: "Woah! This sponge is revolutionary. I’m a sponge snob and will never go back to any other sponge. Let’s just say, with my old brand, it would take a full pump of foundation to cover my car wrecked face. With this sponge, I tried my full pump and ended up being covered in more layers of foundation than I could count. Learned my lesson and only have to use 1/4 of a pump with this sponge, because it doesn’t soak your foundation up like other brands." —Lexi

I have a few of these beauties and cannot say enough good things about them. As someone who loves crystals and meditation, these soaps are simply breathtaking. I have one of these bad boys and they even take off Kylie Lip Kits — a true feat.
Promising review: "YESS!!! I cannot LIVE without this product. I have always had pretty bad acne and every product I’d use would result in either a breakout or just constant irritation. This product can be used with JUST WATER to get literally all of your makeup off with zero skin irritations! I use it in the AM and PM and one rag will usually last me a full seven days before needing a wash. I have about three or four of these because I cannot live without them. My acne has become a lot better by using this as opposed to cleaners and crazy products for my skin. Who knew a clean rag and water could actually do so much?!?" —Nina Aristo

Psst! This won for the mid-priced best makeup remover on BuzzFeed Reviews, too!
The pads are machine washable and come with a washable laundry bag so they don't get lost.
Promising review: "These are really nice, and are a must if you are eco-conscious! I use a cleansing balm to remove my makeup and it requires a cloth to fully remove the balm/makeup from your skin. These pads work wonderfully for the job. They’re much better than using disposable cotton rounds, since they don’t fall apart, and they’re softer than a traditional washcloth. This bamboo fabric is super soft and durable. It feels good on the skin and gently but thoroughly wipes away your makeup and cleansers. I absolutely LOVE that it comes with a garment bag so that you don’t lose them in the washing machine. I choose to wash these in the cold delicate cycle. I totally recommend these! I think they’re a great value!" —Phillip A. Rzewski

When I'm stressed out, the first thing I want to do is retreat to my bathtub. I recently gave this bath tea a whirl and I was pleasantly surprised! I usually shy away from any products that might fill my tub with pieces of debris (yuck), but this "tea" was sealed in a bag so there were no stray bits to worry about. It soaped up really nicely and completely filled my tub with moisturizing bubbles. Then scent was really relaxing and my skin felt very soft afterwards.

My colleague Elizabeth Lilly has this pillowcase and is a fan. Here's what she had to say about it:
"Yes, these will give you similar results to silk pillowcases, just without the hard-to-wash factor. I have a set of these in 'Dark Gray' and adore them. I even pack them when I go on vacation so I know my hair will be smoother, despite whatever hotel pillowcase situation I may be dealing with. At home, I have several sets of pillowcases and rotate them out weekly (at least). I can tell a difference in the level of frizz in my hair between when I sleep on these or cotton pillowcases. Also when you sleep on these, you don't wake up with lines on your face... as a side/stomach sleeper, I'm forever waking up with lines on my face from cotton pillowcases!!!"

I've been doing my own nails for a long, long time. It always seemed smarter to me to spend money on a bottle of polish I can keep instead of a manicure that only lasts a week. It's a skill that took a while to work on but, luckily, for at-home manicurists like myself The Poppy has made doing my nails a lot less challenging. It pops right onto any bottle of nail polish (not just Olive and June colors) and provides you with a stronger grip and a more accurate swipe.
Get it from Olive and June for $16 (available in white or pink).
Acrylic-anything has been so trendy lately and I couldn't help but get on the bandwagon via these clips. I've been wearing them for about a month now and really love them. The set comes with a velvet liquid lipstick in Charm and a matte liquid lipstick in Mary Jo. I personally have Mary Jo and can attest to the fact it's a PERFECT red lip with an everlasting formula you won't need to reapply all day.
Promising review: "This is a great price for two Kylie lip minis. I've had her minis before and while they may seem small, they last forever. The red in this kit is AMAZING. It's the perfect holiday red. It is matte so it can be a little drying but I make sure to exfoliate my lips first. The best part about the red? It's 100% transfer proof!! I love it. This literally will not come off until the end of the day. I use makeup remover and a wipe to get it off. The velvet is a nice nude color as well. The velvets don't dry down quite as dry as the mattes. Some very very slight transfer but barely any and super long lasting." —Kate

Promising review: "These eye masks are absolutely amazing! I have hereditary dark circles under my eyes, as well as slight bags from being a mother of four. Eye creams do absolutely nothing for me, and I gave these a try just on a whim, not really expecting much. But they really work! The results aren't permanent, but I put these on for about an hour in the evening while I relax and watch TV, and my under eyes are much lighter and less puffy. I absolutely love these eye masks, and I will never be without them again." —Kate Johnson

Billie is a fantastic subscription service that let's you choose how often you need your razor refills then delivers them right to your doorstep. I recently tried my first Billie razor and, OMG, my legs have never been smoother. My coworker Rachel Dunkel is also a BIG fan of Billie razors and their other products. Here's what she had to say:
"For the last five years or so, I haven't cared that much about shaving. I'd let my legs and pits grow into a (beautiful!) forest, but whenever I craved a nice, smooth shave and picked up a razor from the drugstore, I'd end up disappointed. Even with more expensive razor brands, I'd still be prickly and end up regretting ever shaving in the first place. I have never, ever had that problem with Billie. Ever since trying their razors and shave cream, I've actually *wanted* to keep up with shaving. You get a ridiculously smooth result on the first go, even if your hair is super grown out. But most importantly, it STAYS that way for way longer than with other brands. With Billie, it actually feels worth the time and money to shave, something that I could never say about any other razor."

Promising review: "This thing is pretty amazing. I was skeptical for sure, since I've tried all kinds of lotions, balms, and stone-based products, none of which helped my heels whatsoever. I've worn socks to bed for years, because if I don't the sheets hardly last a week before they have holes rubbed through them. My wife ordered this thing that looks like a mini cheese grater, lol, and after two minutes — two minutes! — of rubbing it on my heel, it's a complete 180. I never would've believed it until I tried it myself. This is well worth double what it costs." —LBK

Promising review: "I absolutely LOVE this mascara. I have very sensitive eyes and am highly devoted to my trusted brands. When a friend suggested this mascara I was curious, as she loved it. For the price point and how good it looked on her eyes, I thought why not. Holy moly. I'm in love. It makes my lashes longer, — looks like I'm natural but better — and has a thinner formula so it looks like I have a billion gorgeous lashes, and looks the same all day long. I cannot recommend this enough. It doesn't rub during the day and give me that black eye look. It's wonderful. Must buy." —Katherine Ochsman

I have one of these babies and it really is wonderful. Not only does it make me feel like I'm really getting in there while I'm washing my hair, but it also recreates that feeling you get when your hairdresser massages your head while washing it. Ugh, so good.
Promising review: "Love this product! About five days before I received it I dyed my hair at home. As some of you may know who do the same, it’s difficult to get the hair dye out of your scalp. I scrubbed my hair for days with my fingers and it seemed like everything was gone because the water ran clear. When I received the product I was excited so I am immediately jumped in the shower to use it. To my surprise a ton of hair dye that was stuck on my head came off. Not only that, but my scalp feels breathable and clean. Definitely not greasy 24 hours later like regular shampooing would do for me. I would recommend this product." —Lisa Agro

Promising review: "I have been using this type of roller for quite some time, as I have thin hair. I am always looking for products that create at least the illusion of thicker hair. The problem I found with other brands was that they cracked or the ends popped off and I was always buying more. These are great! Durable and do EXACTLY what I wanted. I am now a big fan. I will not have to replace them as the quality is very good. I highly recommend!" —terra

Promising review: "Listen I don't know who Lily England is, but that woman is a godsend! Being in the military also makes me plaster my hair to my head so trying to brush out my hair at the end of the day with all the product turns into another war in itself. For as long as I can remember, I have always used a normal brush. Oh my lawd, am I so thankful for this brush. The first time I used it, I decided to try after work. This thing literally told my hair that everything was going to be okay. I also used to make a rug on my floor with my hair, and I also could have made a scarf with the hair that was left on my regular brush after three days. Not this bad boy!!! Just buy it — it's shiny and nice to your hair, head, and floor." —Ashley
