BuzzFeed writer Rachel Dunkel looooves this stuff. She writes: "Not my skin above, but I 100% vouch for this liquid exfoliant's amazingness. It's helped to even out my skin tone and control the hormonal acne around my mouth. It's the only thing I feel like has actually helped start to slow down those breakouts, and for that, I'm forever thankful. I apply a thin layer in the morning and at night after cleansing and before moisturizing."

Promising review: "MIRACLE IN A BOTTLE. I have every skin issue you can think of. I’ve spent probably thousands on a multitude of different products, trying to find one that would at least make a dent. I’ve had many procedures, many trips to the dermatologist. Nothing I’ve ever used, nothing I’ve ever done, has made such a profound difference in the appearance of my skin. Having rosacea, my face often felt hot, bumpy, and burned. While my complexion is naturally fair and pink, this has seriously covered all my bases in a gentle and effective way. I’ve been trying to turn my skin around for YEARS! This was the product that did it. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. It has seriously changed my life!" —hc

My hair is sooo soft, shiny, bouncy and nourished. It now looks and feels like hair again. Even my boyfriend noticed a huge difference in my hair. 5. A pack of reusable and DEEPLY satisfying exfoliating washcloths for scrubbing the dead skin off your body and revealing the ~baby-soft~ skin underneath. Reviewers attest: This product does not come to play.

I use these about once a week, and they are *chef's kiss*. Stay in the shower or bath for five or 10 minutes with moderately hot water before using, which will soften up your skin so that when you start scrubbing; dead skin will basically roll straight off your body. Your skin will look and feel as good as new after, and SUPER soft. One of my favorite shower products, and worth every penny.

Promising reviews: "I stumbled upon these from watching a TikTok, and I’m so glad I did! Definitely look into how to use them before you start so you do it efficiently and find what works best for you. I use them after being in a hot shower for at least five minutes, then I start with long strokes in one direction. These got lots of gunk off my body and left my skin feeling so soft and smooth!" —Mariah C.

"Okay, these things are AWESOME! I watched a TikTok about this gal using them, and I figured why not try them. They weren’t expensive, and I spend $5 on useless crap all the time. This, my friends, is NOT useless crap. This gets so much gunk off my body it’s disgusting. How can I have so much dead skin on my body!? I don’t know, but this gets it all off and leaves my skin so soft! Just throw some baby oil on your skin after using it and you are good to go!" —Emilee Brinker

    The NYX setting spray

While we hate to see unkindly timed breakups (right before a party?? BOO!!), THAT'S HOW GOOD THIS SETTING SPRAY IS.

Promising review: "I have been purchasing the Nyx Matte Finishing Spray for years but would rotate between this and other high-end sprays. I always end up coming right back to Nyx because the finish is incomparable. No matter which foundation I use, my makeup is long-wearing, stays matte and there's no cakey, oily or melted/separated look even after hours of wear. I also have some visible pores on my cheeks and this spray does NOT highlight them or make them stand out more like other sprays do. It's the perfect combination for my makeup needs. Also, so happy that Amazon sells this in jumbo size so this bottle will last me a really long time!" —Krystle M.

    7. ~Uber-satisfying~ and mega-affordable hydrocolloid pimple patches for sucking gunk out of acne that has come to a head. Plus, (crucially) protecting deep, under-the-skin pimples from wandering or picking fingers, which can inadvertently inflame blemishes more by adding dirt and bacteria to irritated skin. These are one of the best skincare purchases I've ever made, and reviewers agree.

Reviewer showing their clear skin after removing their pimple patches

I have used these for years, and I literally buy them in bulk so that I'm never caught without them. I really can't sing the praises of these enough — they make my cystic acne heal faster, whether by sucking puss out of active breakouts or by curbing the beginning of pimples through keeping my hands the heck off them. I like to keep them on overnight, and they're clear and unobtrusive enough that I'll usually use them during the day when needed, too. Different sizes are included so you can customize to different blemish sizes, or simply use smaller patches during the daytime and larger ones at night, lol. This is the product I'm constantly raving to my friends about, and TL;DR: it's my desert island item. You cannot go wrong with these. Plus, they're super affordable for the amount you get, and especially for the benefit they provide.

Promising review: "I’ve bought this product multiple times over the last couple of years because they really, truly work. I’m a (now) 37-year-old who still gets breakouts, including painful cystic acne at times. I sleep with these babies on, and in the morning, the size and redness is usually 50%–75% better. If it’s a larger breakout or a cyst, I repeat the process and have been known to wear these to work — depending on location of the pimple. They really are great and makes having acne in your mid-late thirties less stressful. They’re usually gone in one to two days with these patches! Highly recommend!" —Lauren Kerley

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord swears by this mascara. She writes: "I bought into the hype of all the 5-star reviews and now I will never look back!! Putting it on is like giving my eyelashes butterfly wings. It doesn't get clumpy, it stays put ALL the live long day (I've spent two ridiculously hot NYC summers wearing it, so I can speak to that), and you can apply it on very lightly if you don't want it to look so dramatic, or continue applying for longer lashes each time."

Promising review: "I am a 30-year-old who has been wearing mascara since I was probably 15 or 16 and this is by far the best mascara ever. This beats Dior's almost $40 mascara. A few times I made makeup purchases based off of what reviewers and makeup influencers hyped up and was disappointed, this surely wasn’t a disappointment." —Mary

Promising reviews: "I keep going back to buy more colors. This is THEE gloss. You can throw it on alone and it has enough pigment to look great even without lip liner. I’ve never had a gloss wear this well without being sticky. I have some fine lip lines and it doesn’t bleed. Bonus that as it wears off, it leaves a nice bit of color without any weirdness and my lips just feel moisturized. Excellent price point that makes it fun to keep trying more colors. I just ordered my fourth and love them all. I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a beauty product." —Natalia

    11. A foot file that'll quickly, effectively, and gently (!) remove calluses and cracked skin from your feet, leaving you with heels so soft and smooth you won't want to stop gliding your hands over them. Trust: The results are *beyond* satisfying.

Reviewers recommend you soak your feet before using the foot file!

Promising review: "This is the perfect tool to invest in to maintain soft and healthy feet in between pedicures. It has saved me lots of money because I'm able to space out my pedicures more often now. I've found the best results are when I use it after I shower and then I moisturize when I'm finished. I would recommend going easy the first couple of times because it's difficult to know how much callus/skin you're actually removing in the moment. Highly recommend though!" —Nikki Moody

You can peek at the photo reference guide on the product page, too!

Promising review: "In my 30s, I decided I should learn more about makeup than just a touch of blush, BB cream, and eyeliner on rare occasions. I still don't wear makeup often, so I didn't want to spend a fortune on quality brushes. These have been great for me over the last six months. They come with a photo reference of what each brush is designed to do, which is great for me who still can't tell one small brush from another without looking at my guide. Out of the big brushes, I mostly use one for blush and another for mineral foundation. I use the various small brushes for eye shadow. The fine one is nice for using eye shadow as eye liner. So if you're a makeup newbie or an occasional makeup wearer who wants a good set of brushes, these are for you." —Belle Brita

Well, this product fulfills its promise. I used it at bedtime and woke up with hydrated lips! This is a first. I’ve tried so many products — expensive and cheap — but I would still awaken with hard, cracked, and peeling lips. I could peel hard skin from my lips, but not this time. I recommend this product without reservation." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I love this shampoo! I had gastric sleeve surgery and my hair was very, very thin. I started taking biotin and switched to biotin shampoo as recommended by my doctor. It doesn’t make your hair grow by washing it but it makes your hair and roots stronger. And it worked. After using the whole bottle, my hair was stronger. I had a lot of new growth that was sticking around (the previous new growth fell out early on) and my hair was getting thicker. Eight months later, my hair is back to normal. It's longer and thicker than ever. I still use it twice a week and love it! I don't love the smell but others love it when they smell my hair." —Diane J. Huff

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord has one of these and loves it! She writes: "I started using one of these and WOWZA, it really helps you get extra mileage out of your shampoo. I have a whole lot of hair on my head so sometimes it's a struggle to feel like I've soaped up my whole scalp thorough, but this was a very effective way to spread out the suds and really get them to the roots. I was worried it might tangle in my hair, but it was totally fine on that front, too. I've noticed that my hair has been a little less greasy at the roots since I started using it. And I'm echoing a ton of reviewers here when I say it just feels reeeeeally, really nice."

Promising review: "I saw this little thing all over TikTok and everyone swore by it. To be honest, they’re right and I now swear by it. It’s perfectly soft and sturdy to massage the scalp. BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord *loves* this matte lip. She writes: "Personally, I absolutely swear by this lipstick to the point that I haven't used anything else in years (my favorite is the muted pink 'Seductress'). I'm pretty bad at applying anything matte, but this formula and the applicator make it close to foolproof. It lasts a long time and my lips never feel chapped or dry. I also like that when it does fade, it does it in a gradual way that doesn't look obvious or patchy and require an immediate touch-up."

Promising review: "I love this liquid lipstick! It applies so smoothly. It's high pigment, doesn't dry out my lips, doesn't fade, and doesn't smudge! Once it dries, I don't have to give my lipstick a second thought. This is the best lipstick I have ever tried. I have five different shades now. I hope they never stop making this." —Kristn

This shampoo was designed to work for sensitive scalps, color-dyed, and chemically processed hair, as well as for all hair types and textures, with reviewers with 3b-4c curls mentioning it worked for them. For continued upkeep, use twice a week in between using your regular shampoo.

Promising review: "I’m so amazed, tbh. I usually never write reviews but I really had to since this hits close to home for me. I've been diagnosed with scalp psoriasis for about five years now and it’s been a long journey of trying things and most things not working. The past few months my flareups were worse (could be from stress I, had a tough semester in college). I have been using a lice comb to comb through the top of my hair to get rid of the flakes but it’s so noticeable in the part of my hair ;(. I saw this recommended on TikTok for psoriasis and bought it on a whim with low hopes because I’ve tried so many other shampoos and prescribed solutions and nothing really worked. After two uses I already see a huge difference with barely any flaking and the itching has severely subsided. I could cry how much this product helped me. I know this isn’t a typical product review but I had to emphasize how many other treatments and products did not work for me as fast and well as this one." —Mich

Promising review: "I found this on TikTok and decided to try. I have sensitive skin and after using this I had no razor bumps! It’s weird because it doesn’t get sudsy and foamy like regular shaving cream, but this is much more moisturizing and smells great! Will definitely be using from now on." —Luis

Promising review: "I LOVE this. I went almost completely gray in my 20s and have been coloring my hair since then — almost 20 years. My hair grows somewhat fast so I find myself coloring my roots at minimum every two weeks, which I think is bad for my hair. This product has been a lifesaver in allowing me to extend out that time frame some. I wish I had found it sooner!!! I have been several colors since finding this product — dark brown, blonde, and reddish — and all of those corresponding colors of this product worked wonderfully for me." —Mmandkcs

In addition to your face, you can also use it on your body and even in your hair as a scalp treatment. Reviewers recommending mixing in some apple cider vinegar for best use, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Promising review: "This is quite possibly the best skincare product I have ever used. I don’t say that lightly as I am a self-confessed beauty lover and cystic acne sufferer. But holy hell, this mask literally changed my life in less than a week. I’ve tried oral medication, antibiotics, snail creams, vitamins, lasers, retinol, microdermabrasion, monthly facials, birth control pills, homeopathic herbs and remedies and NOTHING has cleared my angry, inflamed cystic acne quicker than this mask. I have very oily skin and hormonal acne along my jawline. This mask is a godsend. I apply it every single day for exactly ten minutes before showering. Within three days, my cysts has dried up completely and flattened (which would’ve taken at least two weeks normally.) No new pimples have emerged and my skin is younger looking, less spotty, and much softer. I even use this mask on my backne. I am beyond thrilled. I’m over the moon. Pro tip though: Do not wash the mud down the drain. It will clog your pipes!" —French_Lentil

Promising review: "I absolutely love these. I saw them on TikTok and ordered them right away. I've been using them for months now and they make applying masks so much easier. I get a much more even application than I did with my hands or with other brushes. Extremely easy to use, clean, and store. Love love love!" —caterina

Promising review: "I want one in every color. I love that a little bit of soap goes a long way with this. Thank god for TikTok because I was getting a new loofah every other day and this saved me for the struggle. You only need one or two or pumps for your whole body and it makes your soap go a long way. It’s so soft, it doesn’t feel damaging at all. It would be easy to disinfect too if needed. Overall 10/10. The ONLY thing is I wish it were bigger." —Cheyenne L.

One side is the curved wing stamp, and the other is a regular fine tip liner for defining the rest of the eye. It comes in a pack of two, one for each eye.

Promising reviews: "I’ve been doing winged liner every day that I wear makeup for 20 years; it’s what I’m known for. You’d think I’d be an expert by now, but I have off days where I can’t get it right. I was looking to try a new liquid liner and decided to give this a try. GAME-CHANGER. So easy to do wing liner that I haven’t gone back; it’s that life-changing and a huge life hack that cuts my time down immensely. I got the size 8 tip which was perfect; short enough to wear at work or make it a bit longer for a dramatic out on the town look. The liquid goes on smoothly and doesn’t budge. The only downside I see is it takes a little more effort to remove at night, but no complaints here." —vicious1

    33. An easy-to-use, bestselling Maybelline eyebrow pencil that sports an angled pencil side and a spoolie brush on the other end, so you can fill in, shape, and blend your brows all with the same product.

Promising review: "Spent years using a brow pomade but got tired of it drying out in the little pot so quickly. I avoided pencils since I could never find one that went on as saturated and with a creamy sort of consistency that I was used to. Tried this on a whim since I'd seen a few positive reviews via YouTube and thought the angled tip was pretty neat. I don't know if I'd want to use anything else ever again because I love it so much! Easy to apply, goes on smoothly, and the little brush on the end is great for evenly brushing product through the brows once they're filled in. Looks so natural and precise. So very happy to get out of my comfort zone and try something new." —Shannon M Slape

    34. A podiatrist-level toenail clipper made of surgical stainless steel to quickly and easily trim thick toenails while taking care of ingrown ones so your feet can be the healthiest version of themselves. PS: They're also a dream for prepping your toes for pedicures!

Promising review: "I am on my feet a lot and I had two nails that had thickened to the point where I couldn't use the regular nail clippers any more because they didn't open far enough. I had nail scissors but they weren't nearly strong enough. I'm not going to lie — I was getting really self-conscious about them in addition to the fact that my shoes were getting more and more uncomfortable. I found these clippers and tried them out and I couldn't believe how smoothly they cut through my super thick nails. I thought I was going to have to apply a lot of pressure but the blades just slid right through. One of the best purchases I've made in awhile!" —Katie D.

    35. An alcohol-free micellar water infused with rose water and glycerin to gently cleanse skin, hydrate, and remove makeup, with no rinsing required. One reviewer declares it one of their "favorite obsessions," and I agree — it's a low-maintenance dream.

I've used this micellar water for several years and *love* it for my sensitive skin! It's especially great for days when I don't have the energy to drag myself to the bathroom to properly wash my face. I keep a bottle of this by my bed and just soak a cotton pad with micellar water to clean my face.

Promising review: "Best makeup remover EVER!! I am head over heels in love with this product! I have used it as my go-to cleanser for years. It's very gentle and even cooling to your skin — a very light lovely scent. Don't saturate the cotton ball or pad too much, or you will get make-up and residue sloshing into your eyes as someone described above. A little goes a long way, and your makeup almost disappears like magic. Note: If you do get it in your eyes, it does not burn. No harsh chemicals to worry about. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!" —Babsie
