Here's What Pete Davidson Had To Say To Critics Of His Relationship With Kate Beckinsale

Pete had some choice words for those who are fascinated by the couple's 20-year age gap.

Rumours have been swirling about the actor and the SNL comedian ever since January, where they were apparently seen getting ~cosy~ at a Golden Globes after party.

And after a couple of months of holding hands and reportedly going on vacations together, Kate and Pete all but confirmed their romance last week with a very public makeout session in front of Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye.

The photos of their makeout immediately became a meme, and some of them got a little more than shady.

Antoni being highly uncomfortable by Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale is a legitimate mood

Kate herself even appeared in the comments of a meme posted by one Instagram user, and apparently wasn't at all here for the shade.

And now Pete has joined in, responding to critics of his relationship with Kate during the "Weekend Update" segment of this week's Saturday Night Live.

"Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference," he said. "But it doesn't really bother us."

(For those not in the know, Pete is 25 years old and Kate is 45.)

Pete admitted he's new to the whole ~big age gap~ thing, so decided to list some people his critics could talk to if they wanted some more information about it.

"I'm new to this," he said. "So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, and whoever the president of France is, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart, and Donald Trump."

I guess that's how you make a point.
