1. Martin

Who doesn't love Martin? With its funny jokes, iconic side characters (lookin' at you, Hustle Man), or the consistent “Damn, Gina!” moments, it’s truly a shame that this isn't avail to binge-watch anywhere, but the moment it is, believe I will rewatch it from TOP TO BOTTOM!

2. Kenan & Kel

Nickelodeon

Kenan and Kel singlehandedly put orange soda on the map – which ~may~ have contributed to some of my cavities, but I digress. They were funny as hell and their sketches are still mainstays in pop culture today. Show me someone who hasn't heard of Good Burger and I'll show you a lair.

3. Moesha

"Mo-to-the, E-to-the!" The drama! The intrigue! The fashion! My formative years were very much shaped by Moesha, to the point that what ever hairstyle Moesha was rockin' that season, that'd be the hairstyle I'd be rockin' that school year. The show was hella funny, but also had some heart – and when Dorian/D-Money was revealed to be Moesha and Myles' brother??? That left us all shook™️.

4. One on One

Flex Washington put the dad in daddy. His and Breanna's relationship was hella cute – though, not without its hardships. Speaking of relationships, Breanna and Arnaz's love story was one for the books and one that kept me coming back week after week in the years 2001-2004 (we don't acknowledge the last season). Let's not forget BFF, Spirit and problematic fav, Uncle Duane – it's a damn shame that low-qual YouTube videos are the only way to rewatch this masterpiece.

5. The Parkers

We've seen our fair share of crappy spin-offs, but The Parkers is NOT one of them. Kim and Nikki were the gal pal mother-daughter duo that we NEEDED, but not the one we deserved (*cough Gilmore Girls cough*). It was funny, it had heart, and it had MO'NIQUE. WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED?

6. Taina

Nickeloden

Christina Vidal walked in Taina so Victoria Justice could run in Victorious. You couldn't help but love Taina and her catchy AF theme song. Such a shame that this show only lasted two seasons. #gonetoosoon

7. Sister, Sister

The WB

Tia and Tamera had us all wishing for a long-lost twin that we'd eventually bump into accidentally in a department store. It was funny, it was cute, it was wholesome, and it gave us the iconic line, "Go home, Roger!"

8. My Wife and Kids

ABC

Tisha Campbell is two-for-two! Even with the early-series replacement of Claire Kyle, My Wife and Kids was still a hit and left me with side stitches. Whether it was Michael teaching Junior and Claire one of his "Michael Kyle Signature Moments," Jay and Michael exchanging funny banter, or any time Franklin schools Michael in a game of wits, this show left you in TEARS. There would be no Black-ish without My Wife and Kids.

9. The Jamie Foxx Show

The WB

Was there a couple you shipped more than Jamie and Fancy?? I think not. That, mixed with Jamie's love-hate friendship with Braxton made for some funny-ass television. Not to mention, Jamie's character was an aspiring musician, so we got some smooth tunes as well as some hilarious comedy.

10. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Whether it's Geoffrey's clapbacks, Will and Carlton's high jinks, or Jazz constantly being thrown out of the Banks' estate, you're never short of iconic moments that happen throughout an ep of Fresh Prince. If that episode where Will breaks down to Uncle Phil when his father leaves doesn't bring you to tears, then IDK what to tell you.

11. Smart Guy

The WB

Not only was Tahj Mowrey the cutest thing to grace our screens, but he also was funny AF. #TBT to when skipping multiple grades was a thing. If you're seriously not missing this glorious 22-minute comedy, then you need to readjust your priorities.

12. Girlfriends

Things Mara Brock Akil did: THAT! Honestly, this show shaped me into the woman that I am today – Joan, Maya, Lynn, and Toni were queens way ahead of their time. The show gave us a young Tracee Ellis Ross, which, in itself, was a blessing!! She had a whole-ass career before Black-ish. This show was the black Sex and the City that we needed and could ~actually~ relate to. The fact that this isn't streaming anywhere is a crime against humanity.

13. In Living Color

FOX

SNL, but better. YEAH I SAID IT. With acts like Jamie Foxx, David Alan Grier, The Wayans family, not to mention J. Lo and Rosie Perez as infamous Fly Girls, In Living Color had me on the floor with its sketches and bits – always pushing the envelope and funnier because of it. You can watch select clips on Hulu, but nothing beats the real thing.

14. The Proud Family

Disney

The theme song alone is one of the best bops of the mid-2000s. The show itself was hella funny and was something even adults could find entertaining, even though it was on Disney Channel. My childhood was filled with being afraid of, yet also respecting the Gross sisters, wanting my grandma to be Suga Mama, and being jealous of LaCienega's cute outfits.
