Promising review: "These legs were the perfect addition to our newly reupholstered 55 year old mid-century modern couches. Sturdy and beautifully finished in a gold/brass color, with nice mounting plates. After replacing the half-century old wooden spindle legs, the couches no longer wiggle when you sit down and are ready for another 55 years." —P L Priestley
Get them from Amazon: the gold mid-century legs for $21.59+ (available in two colors and four sizes) and the modern metal legs for $17.99+ (available in three colors and two sizes).

Promising review: "It’s a miracle in a bottle. My German shepherd mix decided to pull a black fountain pen out of my purse and chew it to pieces on my beige carpet while I was sleeping — this cleaner lifted the stain and now it’s like the devastation my dog caused never happened! As soon as I saw it lifting the ink, I got back on Amazon and bought more bottles. I will never let myself run out of this. I use it in my Bissell carpet cleaner for some crazy good cleaning power. I’ve become that weird lady who goes around singing the praises of a cleaning product. No regrets." —L. Logan

Promising review: "For under $100 and I redid my entire bathroom! We moved into our home two years ago and our small main floor bathroom had hideous orange mosaic tiles. We want to eventually gut and rehab our bathroom but wanted to give it a cheap facelift. Floorpops made that possible and a very inexpensive option! We used caulk to seal some of the tiny gaps and caulked around the tub and underneath the baseboards for a good seal. The tiles are not moving at all and have adhered okay." —Agnieska

Promising review: "This peel-and-stick tile backsplash has completely changed the look of our kitchen. It was relatively easy to install and it was our first time using any peel and stick product. One thing we did learn is once it's on the wall...it's not coming off easily. I would highly recommend using the glass cleaner method — this will allow more time to fix your placement if you don't have it just right. Overall, this product is totally worth the price and little time it takes to apply. P.S. It's a great quarantine project if you're looking for one! :)" —Nikki Moody

Promising review: "I bought this RMR spray with low expectations, even with the good reviews. I sprayed a small patch in the evening and let it sit overnight. The next morning, the grout where I had sprayed was as white as if it were brand new. I decided to spray the entire wall and part of the ceiling. The next day everything I sprayed had no visible mold. By the third night, I was pretty much spraying everything left in the shower. This stuff is amazing." —John Werner

Promising review: "I installed these in an older bathroom (much of the 1950's decor remains) and they add a nice, classy vintage touch. The metal is not highly reflective and is closer to a brushed look, which is great for disguising fingerprints. When the light switch is frequently the first thing someone looks at and reaches for in a room, having a quality cover like this gets noticed and enhances a room very easily. I can't believe I'm still writing about how much I enjoy a light switch cover." —Tom Generic Dude

Includes six repair markets, six paper-wrapped wax sticks, and one wax stick sharpener packaged in a blister card. Plus, it comes with six different colors — maple, oak, cherry, walnut, mahogany, and black. To use, just draw over a scratch/scuff/discoloration on your wooden furniture, allow it to dry quickly, and bam! It's magic.
Promising review: "Better than expected. Blends perfectly and leaves a beautiful sheen. Used them on different shades of wood cherry, oak, and mahogany. I blended several shades of markers on each piece. Blended easily and matched perfectly to the different shades of woods. Used on claw foot dining table, chippendale chair legs, Grandfather clock, china cabinet. All look sensational. Covered sweeper scuffs well. They look new now, not touched up. These stain quickly, so wear disposable gloves and cover floors where you are working. Excellent results." —PhoebeS

Promising review: "So Pinteresting! I used this adhesive film to turn two cheap Ikea tables into less-cheap-looking Ikea tables because I'm not made of money but I would like others to believe I am. Super simple to use and a ton of it for the price I was really pleased overall. The pattern actually looks like marble not a weird pixel-y repetitive pattern so that's great as well. Also it was delivered same day which was miraculous as my DIY inspiration tends to fade approximately 48 hours after I discover a project I want to do." —Spencer House

Get a dish brush on Amazon for $8.19.
Promising review: "Love this — absolutely perfect for touchin' up little spots that need touchin' up. I have several sets filled with different paints and so far they've stayed usable, without the paint drying out. I rinse the brush really well after each use (latex paints) and recap it. It would be nice if the manufacturer put an area on the pen where you could easily label the paint info, but I use a permanent marker, and it works okay." —Hooked on Amazon!
Get a pack of five from Amazon for $17.99.
Promising review: "Does exactly what it says. Rather than getting spackle, waiting for it to dry, sanding it down, and tweaking as needed — this cuts the time/effort down! Just rub over the place in need of patching and wipe off the excess. The hardest part is not accidentally getting the product on parts of the wall that don’t need it, but that’s easy to clean up, so it’s not a problem. I used this to patch holes in the wall from a former Wi-Fi router and modem, other than the color difference from the patch to the paint, you’d never know it was patched. Great price, easy to use." —Amanda

Promising review: "I love you little electric pressure washer! Oh let me count the ways...I honestly can't say enough good things about this little guy. Our deck was in serious need of a wash. I really liked the idea of a small electric pressure washer mainly for the ease of maneuverability but was unsure if it really had the power to get the job done. Oh man, let me tell you this thing is fantastic! Once I got started I couldn't stop. I was washing everything in sight. Deck, fire pit, stepping stones, planters, outside rug...I was unstoppable! I was a filthy mess from the thighs down because of all the muck flying everywhere but I didn't care, I was happy." —Larry Crouch

Of course, you'll need to scrub and use some elbow grease, but the soap will really cut through all the burnt-on pieces. From Ask Anna Moseley and BuzzFeed Nifty.
When the oven has cooled off, all you have to do is take out the cookie sheet or liner and wash it in the sink or dishwasher! Make sure you don't put the liner or the cookie sheet on the very bottom of your oven (it's really hot down there!) Instead, place it on the lowest rack.

Promising review: "I have very hard water that leaves hard water buildup and nasty stains. It’s embarrassing to have guests over because the toilets are so gross! I have tried so many products and cleaning solution — from natural essential oils to harsh chemicals so strong I was light headed for the rest of the day. Well I tried out this pumice stone after reading about it in a BuzzFeed article, and honestly the hype is real! It does take some elbow grease, but the after picture is from only 20 minutes of scrubbing, light enough that I didn’t break a sweat! The stone does get used up, but I think this one should last me a couple years at least. So if you have embarrassing toilets, try this!" —Stephanie Ray

Promising review: "Okay, I don’t normally rave about things like this. I bought this on a whim in a last attempt to save my favorite duvet cover. The pills had gotten to the point where it was seriously uncomfortable to sleep with them getting all up in my leg space. I thought I was going to have to get a new duvet cover entirely. Along came this lil' baby. Not only is my duvet cover basically brand new, but I have found a new hobby. I’m depilling everything. Sweatshirts, leggings, blankets, socks, anything that looks like it needs some love. It does the job quickly and leaves everything looking fresh. Hi, I’m obsessed. I can’t stop. I should send this back. I’ve started asking if my neighbors need anything depilled. I’m going to buy one of these for everyone in my life. Everyone needs to own this. Take it away from me." —Sydney Jensen

Barkeeper's Friend makes the best power cleaner IMO! My colleague Kayla used it to clean her bathtub and here's what she had to say about it : "I rinsed the bathtub with some water and then threw powder everywhere like it was New Year's Eve in 1999. Again — taking zero chances here. I immediately started scrubbing with a brush and the grossness started to disappear. Listen, I know Vegas magic shows are great and all, but it's not until you scrub 100-year-old stains out of a tub that you understand what true ~magic~ is."

All you have to do is spread a spoonful of mayo on half a paper towel, and then fold the clean side of the paper towel over so the mayo's between the two layers of paper towels. Press the towel down over the stain, and then heat it up with a hair dryer at a medium setting for a minute. Make sure to move the hair dryer around the stain constantly!
Promising review: "I would give a 10-star rating if there was one. Works like a charm. All of the annoying sticker marks in my house are gone!!!! The old home security stickers on the windows and doors, the price sticker marks on my beautiful pink hairbrush, the old hook sticker mark in our bathroom from the old homeowner, you name it. They've all been there like forever and I seriously tried all means that I could, steam cleaner, electric scrubber, nothing worked until I got this magic Goo Gone. Promising review (for the hinges): "I’ve been wanting to upgrade our garage door for a long time and now I have no idea why I waited! The magnets are super strong.
