I cannot wait for King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo! The continuation of the Grishaverse is everything I need in 2019. Well, that and the Wicked King by Holly Black. Words cannot explain the agony of waiting for that one.
I like to get my friends books I love — recently that’s been Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (I also recommend her Grisha trilogy!)
I believe that everyone can enjoy a story of mystery, fantasy, and kinship, especially one this well written!
I loved the Six of Crows duology but the ending of Crooked Kingdom hurt! One of the main characters died for what seemed like no reason and it was unbearably sad. The rest of the ending was incredible, though!
Kaz Brekker and Inej Ghafa from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo!
Their whole relationship develops in such a natural, un-rushed way. I loved reading about them slowly noticing each other through the duology, and the way they better each other.
