    I once tried to help a manager upgrade his comany issued smartphone. When it came time to select device color, white was one of the options. He was quick to tell me he definitely didn't want white, because it somehow wasn't masculine enough for a man to carry a white smartphone.

    My dad taught me most of what I know how to do up through my twenties - power tools, basic around-the-house repairs, etc. It gave me the courage to try and not just rely on having to call someone else to do the work for me. After he passed away when I was 32, YouTube taught me everything…

    My wife and I discovered something years ago that works like a CHARM for me. I take a washcloth soaked in ice water, fold it, lay it over my eyes so that it wraps around my head and each end of the washcloth is touching my temples... and I take a 15-30 minute nap in a cool, dark room.…
