One of the things you discover when you spend hours researching the disease is that it doesn't require a vagina or uterus. It's very rarely present in men and can become active from some hormonal treatments. The theory is that it develops before sex is formed in the womb.

Sometimes I sandwich myself between my electric mattress pad and my electric blanket. It's fabulous. They also make special Epsom salts for pain relief and they are wonderful.
