They were also the last… when everyone else got released at the end of the war. It was the LGBTQ prisoners who just got transferred to new cells.

But he’s also the reason they got together. So it’s not just some guy they knew in high school. It’s the guy who made it possible for their marriage to even happen. That would probably make me remember them.
