While it will be an amazing monument once it’s finished, Crazy Horse cost like $50 in 2002 to see a small model of what it will eventually look like. The Santa Monica pier in LA and Navy Pier in Chicago are horrible tourist traps. Just a lot of walking with no real payoff.

My mom came to visit and help watch my kids one summer. I told her a few times “please don’t do that, Child doesn’t respond well to that” or where an object could be found and she had a fit because all I did was “criticize” her.
