anonymousbird3 commented on What's Your Ideal Job Based On What You Were Like In High School?

This is awful and biased towards non-arts experiences xD I was the summer varsity swimmer, autumn to spring band geek, and year round ballerina living in a conservative neighborhood where standing up for anything liberal got your ass sent to detention for even daring to have your…

anonymousbird3 commented on This Woman Tried To Find A New Best Friend And It Was Adorable

Can't we all be friends? xD yes, I know it says BFF and there can only be one! But! How much cooler would it have been to see four different personalities trying to plan an evening together?

anonymousbird3 commented on People Are Angry With Time Magazine’s Use Of The Rainbow Flag For Trans Issues

It may be more recognizable but the goal of Time Magazine's articles is to educate others. A more powerful image to use would have been the same rainbow pride toilet paper colors washing away/bleeding into the colors of the trans flag. I would have personally found that more visually…

I'm rather partial to blue and bronze with some fringe but I'm sure they're customizable to personality as well. You should have a flag, I should have a flag, everyone should have a flag. Flags for everyone, even those who aren't 6'3".

anonymousbird3 commented on This Teen Designed An Amazing Handmade "Coming To America" Prom Dress

I'll summarize: Dude has wicked talent with a sewing kit. He can replicate or design a custom dress/jacket for you. His replication skills are master level. Also if you do any kind of sewing (maybe you do, I'm hoping you do as it will make this next bit easier to understand), even…

I hope this kid makes it big in the fashion world. Talent like this needs to be recognized for what it is: GENIUS. This kid is a hero to everyone out there, especially to young artists who are struggling to carve a place for themselves in or around the business world. YOU GO!

anonymousbird3 commented on A Student Body President Was Sent Home From School For Wearing This Outfit

I sincerely hope those teachers are investigated. A girl shouldn't have to put up with demeaning jokes from the adults who should be supporting her to be the best human being she can possibly be (socially and academically) and boys shouldn't have those kinds of sexist societal "confirmations"…

anonymousbird3 commented on An Adult Followed 8 High School Dress Codes And It Was Really Hard

By that same premise you can't complain about dress code either. Imagine being a girl in a conservative/extremist Islamic community. I think maybe instead of seeing this as a competition, we can all agree that women get the shaft from society at large more than their male counterparts,…

anonymousbird3 commented on An Adult Followed 8 High School Dress Codes And It Was Really Hard

The premise of this article was hands down brilliant and I would love to see an updated version involving a) women of different body types (minimum 2-3) to showcase how a one size fits all dress code can negatively impact the female student population across a variety of body types,…

anonymousbird3 commented on People Are Annoyed About How "Me Before You" Represents Disability

To every last non-disabled person who says "boohoo, it's a fictional character in a fictional world, just get over it": fuck you. Check your goddamn privileges before you start spewing that bullshit. The media has long been proven to be more than just a means of entertaining the populace;…
