That's a really honest apology. She owned up to it and didn't make excuses and encouraged people to donate to other charities. Most people don't have the nerve to apologize and when they do they make excuses. Good job, Melissa! WIN.

Why do you all care so much when someone doesn't text immediately? It seems awfully, um, rude to assume that someone should be at your beck and call. I text someone back when it is an appropriate time for me, whether it's right then or they have to wait a few hours.
