Co-signing on Grapes of Wrath!. It was my first high school summer reading assignment. 20 years later I’m still mad I wasted a perfectly good summer day reading an entire chapter about a turtle crossing a road. We get it, it’s a metaphor, soooo clever. 🙄

I was so paranoid about looking perfect and ecstatic in my photos that instead I look really stiff and unnatural. Definitely wish I would have relaxed more! Some friends sent me pictures I didn’t know they took on their phones and those wound up being some of my favorites.

For #1 there’s a great book called Death in the Air by Kate Winkler Dawson that talks about Christie and how The Great Smog helped cover his tracks. Really interesting!!
