LOL…lots of memories here. For 1 or 2, that was more of dinner instead of breakfast since my mom doesn’t cook at all. Growing up she was like the only Filipino woman I knew that didn’t cook. I learned to cook when I was 8 - otherwise my dad, sister and I would’ve starved! Never had 3, never really had to do 9, and 16 wasn’t around my area when I was growing up. Never liked Halo-Halo (when my parents made it, they did something to it that made it gross and it’s scarred me), and for 19 it was Roberto Duran in my time. Never did 22 (was pretty good in math anyway) and with 24 my mom would dilute shampoo so it was 50% water…never made sense since you had to use 50% more shampoo to get a lather. Home karaoke machines weren’t around much when I was growing up so we just sang without anything to help enhance our voices. For 34 it is so true…”Why A minus? Why no A?”
I think she’s lying to herself. If she was as clean as she says she is, she wouldn’t look so rough for her age.
This guy’s an attention whore. According to his own logic, he deserves to be raped.
“Pregnancy is not a miracle” - oh really? Try telling that to couples that are struggling to conceive.
A few of these apply to me, but unfortunately #27 does not. :( Also forgot to include being terrified to bring home a “B” on a report card and the couches being wrapped in plastic.
I’m so used to the “no touch” faucets and soap dispensers at work that I sometimes stand waving my hands underneath my faucet or soap dispenser at home, as if that would trigger them to automatically come on.
I consider myself to be conservative, but I also firmly believe in separation of church and state as well as respecting the opinions of others even if I disagree with them. I admit that I have a very specific definition of the word “marriage” - I’ve been raised with that as having a religious meaning first, legal second. When it comes to same sex marriage, I do have a weird reaction to using the word “marriage” but I do believe that same sex couples should have the same exact legal and human rights as heterosexual couples. From a biblical standpoint, even though it’s a lifestyle I don’t entirely agree with, I don’t have a huge issue with it because everyone is a sinner. If someone says they don’t sin, why they’re just a hypocrite. For those that call themselves Christians that do nothing but preach hate, fear and intolerance violates John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
Favors are cute, but not a big deal to me as a guest. When I was a bride almost 19 years ago it was a huge deal but we were on a very tight budget. We had bookmarks printed with verbiage that thanked our guests for attending our special day. It was cost effective, light and practical.
Didn’t realize Cousin It went into modeling.
