One parent was Scottish/Maltese, the other was German. It was an interesting upbringing, but I went to a school full of immigrants so being different was kind of normal for me. Dad would say to me at the dinner table, “Never forget - you are German!” And I would die of mortification LOL.

Yeah, I had a relatively small grey kangaroo fuck my shit up at a national park because I didn’t feed it kangaroo feed quick enough. I was a kid, damn it, I was like 9 or something. Terrified the crap out of me. Now I eat kangaroo burgers and mince and shit without any apologies. They’re pretty to look at, but don’t fuck with them.

We have gun control here in Australia. It’s nice seeing kids walk to school, or people going to the movies, or to work or into malls, and knowing, “Hey, some douchebag with a gun is not going to lose his shit and shoot them all today.” Because it’s being worked OUT of our culture. We don’t need guns, and we have plenty of freedom here. You should try it, it’s quite lovely.
