I CHOKED ON MY OWN SALIVA.

Lesbians: IT HATH HAPPENED. Cate Blanchett and Sarah Paulson did an Instagram Live, and in it, CATE BLANCHETT SAID SHE WAS A LESBIAN.

If you watched this very brief moment from their Live, you'll see that at one point, Cate just says "I'm a lesbian."

And like two seconds after Cate is like "I'm a lesbian," Sarah Paulson is like..."You're a lesbian??"

And also reacted completely appropriately, with a slight glimmer of hope in her eyes that this was true.

Cate replied, "apparently."

Sadly, we know that she is not actually a lesbian (just an icon for lesbians), but for two seconds of my life, I got to live in a different reality in which Cate Blanchett was a lesbian, and it was glorious.
