Aw, thank you! :)
Has anyone ordered from Romwe, Sheinside and Aliexpress? Are they safe? I’ve been wanting to order from them for a while now but am worried because I’ve read mixed reviews online.
Came her to make sure you had Hadley Fraser. Disappointed.
Uhh, who badged this trashy? This is the best post ever.
Thank you. So. Much.
This is the best! More of these please!
THANK you. I’ve always been super creeped out by Goodnight Moon and I didn’t think anyone else was. The color pallet and old lady whispering hush are REALLY scary.
Actually, we use Proxima Nova! :)
literally just got this email receipt. hate myself
To say that she deserved it or that it was karma just because she made those comments (to herself, not to others’ faces) is awful. No one deserves this. She may have vocalized something after the fact that many people think, even though they were misguided thoughts. It dosen’t mean she deserves having to step outside every single day looking like that and being judged herself, not knowing whether her skin will ever go back to normal. People shouldn’t be so harsh on her, she’s suffering enough already.
i think this is the kind of cd they play and try to sell in a gift shop
Sad that someone’s trying to sell a printed quote on Etsy that has a spelling error in it. Also sad that it’s a quote about design but the actual design has alignment issues.
The end to #13 is “Or will it be the one who we’ll call…Lulie?”
How is it incorrect?
I clicked on this and scrolled down just to make sure you had the “Daves I Know” video. Good.
Uhh, has she never considered just getting acupuncture?
I did really, really, horrible on this. 5/12. I’m fired.
This is SO UPSETTING. That photo is wrong in so many ways. The fact that she has red hair is the main point of the entire story, not to mention that it’s not true to the time period and completely inappropriate. This isn’t the kind of book that you can just throw a modern cover photo on. Someone really fucked up.
This is fantastic!!
Wow, they were really lazy in #2 and just composited the same two guys over and over again. These ads just seem half-assed.
Gavroche isn’t sad. He’s one of the most optimistic characters. And he doesn’t die in despair like Javert does.
The themes of religion were relevant to the time, and obviously very relevant when the novel was written in the 1860s, unlike a musical based in modern day that probably wouldn’t have those themes. It’s not like the writers of the musical decided to throw religion into it. I think the themes of religion, politics and social injustice go really well together and were strong themes during the French Revolution and these rebellions following it. I’m not religious at all, but this entire story is based on Valjean’s “deal” with God to redeem himself. Cardsfan is right, if you took that out of it, there would be no story at all.
I LIKE DOG EATS DOG. I was expecting it both times I saw the movie, after Valjean leaves Thenardier in the sewer. It’s there for a reason! Although what is said in the song was explained in his actions in the movie (including taking Marius’ ring), so the song wasn’t totally necessary.
Also, Colm Wilkinson, the original Valjean, making a cameo as the Bishop, is definitely one of the highlights!
