You step out of the tent and try to find the trail you took yesterday, but it's completely covered in snow. You can't see a path at all. You walk a few minutes out to find snowed-over footprints. Further away, you can decipher snowmobile tracks. Maybe if you follow one of these, you'll find safety? Tap or click on your choices to move along on your journey.

You trudge on. Without realizing it, you have wandered into a dense forest, which you don't recognize from your hike yesterday. Suddenly you see two trail markers pointing in two different directions. You know you must choose one, but which?

You stop dead in your tracks when you suddenly come upon a lone bird shivering on a branch. The bird is about to take flight. Where will it go? You look around, just as you catch a deer looking straight at you, immobile. You just watched _Bird Box_ recently, so part of you wonders if you should follow the bird. Or...is the deer trying to beckon you?

Ah, you know what the animal was after: You are now standing in front of a hawthorn tree. Food! But...it'll take forever for your shaking hands to collect even a few berries, let alone enough to be full. You recall the small, discarded campfire you passed a minute ago. If you can light it, you can cook the rest of your food and muster enough strength for the rest of your journey.

You made it down the mountain! It's still cold down here, but most of the snow has melted. You're very confident you'll find your way back. You've stumbled upon a narrow, winding trail. You can't see where it's going. You look to your right, and down an embankment is a flowing river. You seem to be at the base of it. A small boat is tied to a tree. Is this your way out, or should you stay on dry land?

It's been hours. The daylight is waning. You have travelled far, looking for signs of civilization. When you hear echoes of voices, you follow them and end up here, where two paths form a "Y." You have to make a decision. If you choose the wrong path, you may be lost forever. 

After about 20 minutes down this trail, you make it back to the trailhead! You load your equipment into your car and drive home with a greater reverence for nature.

You made it!

You make your way down the path, keeping a quick stride at first but after several hours without sight of civilization, you slow down and start to feel hopeless. The path becomes more narrow; there was a dead end you didn't expect. The sun is setting and you're very hungry. You wonder if you should retrace your steps or camp here, starving, and try again in the morning.

You didn't make it!
