Netflix Just Teased Season 2 Of "Umbrella Academy" With This Epic Selfie Of The Cast

    I've missed this crew.

Earlier this year, Netflix dropped all 10 episodes of Umbrella Academy, one of the best superhero shows I've ever seen, and I've been impatiently waiting for Season 2 ever since.

The series, which revolves around "a dysfunctional family of adopted siblings" with superpowers, follows their quest to solve the mysterious death of their billionaire father, Sir Reginald Hargreeves.

Along the way, they're chased by ruthless assassins, played by Mary J. Blige and Cameron Britton, and faced with the impending threat of a global apocalypse. It's really compelling stuff, guys. Truly.

The show also introduced me to this everlasting bop, "Dancing in the Moonlight" by Toploader:

Anyway, if you were wondering what the cast has been up to since, I have good news 🎉! On Wednesday, Netflix gave fans an update and also confirmed that Season 2 of Umbrella Academy is "coming soon."

The streaming service posted a series of group selfies featuring the cast on its UK-and-Ireland Instagram account, including Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Justin H. Min, and Robert Sheehan.

While no official date has been released, it's likely the second season will premiere in "the second half of 2020," according to LADbible.

Also, Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes, and that's more than enough to have me dancing in the moonlight.
