The inspiring teen, who has received an outpouring of support from her famous parents, Dwyane Wade and stepmom Gabrielle Union, since coming out as transgender, posted a series of photos from the event on Instagram:
Earlier this year, Zaya gave her first interview while making her red carpet debut, and spoke about becoming an LGBTQ activist and encouraging others to live in their truth:
"It feels great. I feel like there was always something that I was meant to do, but I was never able to find it. So I always tried to do all of this stuff, and I eventually just stopped looking for it, and I think I found it," she said.
"I just feel that all people should be able to experience life to the fullest, and I think that really includes knowing who you are truly, and being able to show other people who you are. And that's just what it's all about," she declared.
