I'll admit the movie is quite campy...but still amazing. It also has '90s scream queenSarah Michelle Gellar and a psycho killer named The Fisherman who stalks his victims in a raincoat with a hook in one hand!

Anyway, recently it was announced that the 1997 film will receive the reboot treatment as a series on Amazon and I, of course, am here for it!
The remake is being described as “a young adult horror series based on the Moritz-produced hit movie franchise.” In other words, it'll likely be a show about a bunch of young, hot people getting hacked!
Neal H. Moritz, who produced the original, will return to produce the series and Aquaman filmmaker James Wan has been tapped to direct. Shay Hatten, the 25-year-old who wrote John Wick 3, will pen the pilot.
As of now, nothing has been said about the plot or if the show will follow the same storyline as the movie, which saw a group of teens accidentally kill a man on the road and attempt to cover up the murder.
