That's not true at all. Being paid less than $4 an hour and not getting ripped is NOT better than having less staff. Where is the quality of life? You just end up with a bunch of complacent, overworked and angry employees. That's bad for business.

It's a federal law I'm pretty sure. It's like that in Missouri, except it's only if they don't make minimum wage over a whole pay period. (2 weeks) Still pretty shitty though. Missouri minimum wage is $7.65 an hour. How is anyone supposed to live on that?
