We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us how they boost their confidence on days when they're really not feeling themselves. Here’s what they had to say:
1. Create a "Slaylist" you can strut to.
2. Practice your Oscar/Grammy/Nobel Prize acceptance speech.
"That always gives me a boost. Embarrassing if you get interrupted though."
3. Give a compliment to a stranger.
4. Sleep in the nude.
5. Do something you're awesome at.
6. Phone home.
7. Put on a sexy song and dance in front of the mirror.
8. Do something physical.
9. Throw yourself a compliment every time you walk past a mirror.
10. Get a pair of sweet shades to block out the haters.
11. Wear red lipstick.
12. Crack a smile!
13. Cosplay as your favorite character.
14. Masturbate.
15. Put on underwear that makes you feel sexy.
16. Schedule a best friend date.
17. Pamper yo'self.
18. Be your own hype man.
19. Think of three awesome things you've done or made.
20. Do something scary AF.
21. Make a list of all the things you have to be thankful for and hang it somewhere you'll see it daily.
22. Wear a suit.
"On rough days after work I go to a local shop and try on suits. Its hard to stay sad when you turn and see yourself in the mirror looking like a million bucks."
23. Volunteer your time.
24. Pretend you're all the girls Drake talks about in his songs.
25. Take a few ~fire~ selfies.
"I know how superficial this sounds, but I put on that Snapchat filter that makes everyone look perfect (you know the one) and take some selfies. It actually does help!"
