Really, this is par for the course for *really* good interpreters. They're amazing to watch. And yes--it must be exhausting; I've seen a couple tag-team longer events. Saw some awesome ones at Harvard during a lecture series.
While this is really touching, I think the most powerful moment is Harry Belafonte singing "Turn the World Around." The across-the-board amazingness of the memorial service speaks to Henson's legacy.
Don't play down movement, gesture, and non-verbal communication. Being masked by make-up actually makes acting a lot harder--instead of being able to show character through his facial expressions, in most of these, he has to rely on his body to really communicate character, like…Â
