    1. Mighty Patch Invisible+ Pimple Patches banish your pimple anxieties with a special hydrocolloid material that draws out all of the gross (but oddly satisfying) pus and other impurities inside whitehead-showing pimples, thus speeding up the healing process — and they're thin enough to wear during the daytime with barely any visibility!

Promising review: "Now that I have to deal with 'adult acne,' it's sent me scurrying in every direction, from drugstore to dermatologist, to try and clear it. Unlike my teenage years, the problems I deal with now are not straightforward zits. My pores get clogged, but they're stubborn buggers and don't like to be extracted. The Mighty Patch has been great because it actually succeeds in bringing all that grossness to the surface. From there, it's easy just to extract and blast off. I'm also guilty of that cardinal sin in zit care — constantly poking at the blemish and this keeps me from myself. I've already gone through one sheet!" —Karen Lee

Get a pack of 39 from Amazon for $17.99. You can also get a 36-pack of their original patches from Amazon for $12.51.

    2. John Freida Hot Air Brush releases — you guessed it — hot air to lift, brush out, and dry your hair all at the same darn time, which means you're doing three jobs at once without sacrificing efficiency. Time to throw your flat iron out the window!

    Maitland Quitmeyer / BuzzFeed

It combines the smoothing effect of a round brush with the drying and sleekifying power of a traditional blowdryer. It has TWO heat settings (plus a cool setting to set your style) AND ***ionic power*** to reduce frizz and add massive shine. Plus, ceramic coating to reduce heat damage to your hair.

Promising review: "This hot air brush has made the biggest difference in my usually flat, frizzy hair! I now have more body and shine than I have had in years! I highly recommend this product. It is lightweight and easy to use. My hair holds a style longer and it is so much easier than trying to blow dry my hair while also using a round brush trying to style it. I wish I would’ve discovered this hot air brush years ago! Love it!" —L

    3. Ole Henriksen Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub draws from the traditional Scandinavian sauna cycle for inspiration: it uses dual warm/cool action to lift and loosen dead skin cells with a powerful blend of glycolic and lactic acids, while volcanic sand and neem seed oil absorbs excess oil and unclogs pores, making them appear smaller.

Promising review: "The warming sensation this gives your skin really does make it feel like your face is experiencing a luxurious sauna. I can't get enough of this! Exfoliates my skin, gives my face a fresh glow, and doesn't dry me out! I have very dry skin, so I find that I have to exfoliate often to relieve my skin of dry patches, and this product is perfect!" —skh11

Get it from Sephora for $28.

    4. Orly Gel FX Easy-Off Base Coat lessens the damage of gel manicures because it basically creates a barrier between your nail and potent gel colors, so removal is a total breeze that doesn't require soaking your nails in acetone for approximately a million years.

    @orlynails / Via, @orlynails / Via

Promising review: "This is the best stuff!!! I use it at my salon and it is quick, and after it soaks and you remove the foils, it literally pops off the nail. You can blow on it! That's how easily it comes off. And the biggest bonus, NO DAMAGE TO THE NAIL!" —Serena

Get it from Amazon for $9.75.

    5. E.L.F. Makeup Remover Pen makes mistakes disappear with a few flicks of the wrist (and with great precision) so gone are the days you have to sacrifice and restart a completely made-up eye for one little misshapen eyeliner or mascara smudge sitch!

Promising review: "I order several of these at a time so I always have one on reserve. I clean the tip with a damp cloth or the clean corner of a makeup remover wipe after each use to prolong its life. I never want to be without this pen ever again." —grndma

Get one from Walmart for $2.54 or a two-pack for $4.93.

    6. Smashbox Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer's clear formula transforms your fave cream/glossy lipsticks into velvety matte dreamboats, so they actually stay put throughout a major chow-down.

Promising review: "Where has this stuff been all my life? As someone who can't stand glossy, shiny lips, this is the most amazing product I've ever purchased. No need to worry about the finish when buying lipstick anymore, because this stuff will turn anything matte. I squeeze a little out of the tube and apply using my finger. It feels a little thick when you first apply it, but not sticky. Can't recommend it highly enough!" —blueeyes133

Get it from Sephora for $24.

    7. EcoTools Fresh Perfecting Blender is made with antimicrobial silver to keep your sponge cleaner and fresher for longer — and its design is both ergonomic to the touch and useful with both rounded and flat edges.

You still need to wash your sponge regularly though! And as with their other sponges, this bb is made out of their EcoFoam Technology which has 70% plant based materials. They're also cruelty-free, PETA-certified, and vegan!

Promising review: "I typically don't pay attention to the sponges that I use for applying makeup, but I like how this one feels. The shape is ergonomic and easy to hold. The flat end makes it easy to apply foundation precisely. You also don't have to use too much makeup because the blender doesn't suck it all up — rather, it applies and blends very efficiently." —jotatooo

Get it from Target or Ulta for $5.99. Also available in a bigger size for body blending.

    8. Shadow Shields plop right underneath your eyes to prevent messy fallout situations — so go wild with the sparkles and glitter! — and help draw out perfectly sharp cat eyes (better than tape too, IMO)!

Promising review: "So glad I found these! I've always had trouble with fallout under my eyes, even with good brushes and high-quality makeup. Some palettes have colors with fallout, some don't, but now I don't have to worry about that at all. I can do my foundation first and THEN my eye makeup — I hated having to wipe away shadow from my cheeks and apply more concealer. I'll be buying more boxes of these." —Tasha

Get a box of 30 from Amazon for $9.

    9. Blithe Soothing & Healing Green Tea Splash Mask is the ultimate lazy-but-ingenious skin care hack: all it takes is splashing and patting for 15 seconds right in the shower for gentle toning, exfoliation, and hydration.

    @myblithe / Via

Promising review: "What is this witchcraft?? Let me tell you, it's amazing. Not only do I enjoy using this mask, it has changed my skin...100% for the better. My skin is clearer, more hydrated, less oily, balanced, and glowing. I am currently a student in esthetician school and I've had fellow students, teachers, and administrators compliment my skin. (The weekly facials don't hurt either, but this mask made the most drastic difference in a shorter amount of time.). It is refreshing, has evened out my skin, and reduced old acne scars." —heather1117

Get it from Sephora for $45 (also available in Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey).

    10. Lay N' Go Cosmetic Bags solve the extremely perplexing dilemma of "why does my makeup collection always look like an avalanche?" in an easy lay-out-and-drawstring-up fashion.

    Lay N' Go / Via

Did I mention it only weighs a few ounces on its own, it's washable, and there's a lil' zipper pocket on the inside for any other necessities? Looove it.

Promising review: "I travel weekly for work and I used to use the tray from the coffee center or ice bucket for my makeup because it was too difficult to find and use my makeup straight from the bag. This is just perfect! I just open the bag and everything is organized; when I'm ready to leave, I do a quick zip of the cord and it's all packed up." —Shan Day

Get them from Amazon for $26.96+ (available in11 colors).

    11. L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray makes the arduous task of drying and styling your hair — all while ensuring it's protected from intense heat — a total snap with its lightweight formula that transforms your hair from a wet mop to a lustrous, frizz-free mane in mere minutes.

Some reviewers recommend avoiding getting product on your roots, so they don't look ~greasy~.

Promising review: "I can't express just how much I hate the process of shampooing, conditioning, drying, and styling my thick, coarse hair. It takes FOREVER. It's become a chore I dread and usually leaves my hair smelling burnt. Tried another product for heat protection, and it smelled awful and made my hair oily. This product smelled great, kept my hair feeling light as a feather, did not make my hair greasy, and helped my hair dry faster, as advertised." —Artist369

Get it from Amazon for $3.72. The Blow Dry It line also includes a Thermal Smoother Cream and Extender Spray (to maximize your blowouts).

Promising review: "I am obsessed with this product! I have gotten so many compliments when I wear it, and in white-blonde hair it just gives this little bit of a glisten. It is easy to use and doesn't overload your hair with glitter. My local coffee shop barista even asked me to 'please wear glitter in your hair every day!' Who am I to argue?" —Rae0506

Get it from Sephora for $16 (available in Silver or Sprinkle — which is a combination of purple, gold, green, red, and silver).

    13. Belif Aqua Bomb has a ridiculously satisfying ~water burst~ formula, which means its gel texture disperses into water droplets you can feel as it's being rubbed into your skin — and alongside a blend of apothecary herbs, it calms down normal, oily, and combination skin types and smooths everything over without leaving any residue or unnecessarily heavy texture behind.

Promising review: "I absolutely love this! I've been using it I think for almost three years now and do not plan on changing it anytime soon. I used to live in Boston, which meant I needed a super-hydrating product to survive the winter, but I truly cannot stand oily and heavy creams (plus they tend to break me out). It felt super light and refreshing, but still sooo hydrating! I have since moved to Panama, which is the complete opposite in terms of weather, and I still love this product since its lightweight texture is perfect for the extreme humidity we have here." —ngade29

Get it from Sephora for $22+ (available in mini and full sizes) or Amazon for $38.42 (full size only).

    14. Londontown Kur Instant Smudge Fix Nail Coat smoothes out little mistakes if you're one of those impatient people who can't wait for their nails to fully dry before using your hands (meeee!) — and it's also a great touchup/refresh for already done nails from before!, Amazon

Promising review: "This refreshes my worn-out manicure very well. I apply this as a top coat over my old manicure. It re-spreads and smoothes the polish out, and leaves it fresh and shiny. It's a bit pricey, but it does save me a lot of time and trouble not having to re-polish my nails." —SoniaSophia

Get it from Amazon for $14.

    16. Lime Crime Unicorn Hair lets all hair colors (yes, even dark-stranded babes) in on the semi-permanent dye fun with a magical concoction that packs A TON of color into your strands with beautiful, natural fade-out. Plus, they're cruelty-free and vegan (as the unicorns would want!).

Lime Crime, Sarah Han / BuzzFeed

I personally love this product! I'm super skeptical of temporary dyes because, while my hair used to bleached blonde, it was many-months-old bleach and, to my utter dismay, it wasn't absorbing other brands of temporary color very effectively. And because of this, I opted for one of Lime Crime's "full coverage" colors, Bubblegum Rose and let me tell ya, it was vibrant and BRIGHTTTT. So much that I could've gotten a more muted pink, which was what I originally wanted (you can use the dilute shade to tone down any shade!). But regardless, the color totally took and gave me lovely pink-dyed ends that got all the compliments. Almost a year later, I still use Unicorn Hair to re-up my salon-made pink hue, so my beloved color never goes away!

Get one from Amazon (available in 14 shades) or Lime Crime for $16 each (available in 20 shades).

    17. Or more an *even more* temporary option, Kristin Ess Temporary Tint in Rose Gold and Amethyst sprays onto pre-lightened or blonde hair right in the shower (or slightly towel-dried hair for a more intense pink) for fairy-like hair that's the definition of no commitment.

    @kristin_ess / Via, @kristin_ess / Via,

A lot of reviewers do point out application's a bit messy, so even if you're applying the tint to towel-dried hair, do it in the shower!

Promising review: "Gave a blush/rose gold color to my blond balayage that I absolutely love. And it really did wash away after only a couple shampoos. I’d normally never touch temporary color products like this, but I knew I could trust this line to not harm my color." —Melissa

Get them from Target for $12 each: Rose Gold and Amethyst

    18. Nivea In-Shower Nourishing Body Lotion absorbs instantly into wet skin and leaves skin feeling buttery soft, so you can jump out of the shower and straight into bed — because no one likes feeling sticky and waiting for moisturizer to absorb after drying off.

Promising review: "Good for lazy people like me. I have super dry skin, and while one would think it would make me a religious daily moisturizer person, it has not. No one likes standing on their bath mat sticky, naked, and cold, waiting for a traditional moisturizer to dry. This adds a step to your shower routine, but is way faster than the old way of applying post-shower. I highly recommend if you just can’t seem to commit to keeping your skin hydrated. Say goodbye forever to ashy skin!" —Coco

Get it from Amazon for $4.86.

    19. Glossier Invisible Shield basically applies like a moisturizer: it has a clear (read: ZERO white cast) watergel formula with SPF 35 and ~active microcapsules~ that instantly absorb into your skin, never turn into a grease fest, and neutralize harmful free radicals and pollutants. Win, win, and win.

Promising review: "I was never the kind of person to wear (or care about) sunscreen on a daily basis, but I was HOOKED from the second I put this on. First, the smell...I don't know why, but I love the smell. Upon first application, I was worried that my skin would become greasy and oily. That is not the case and I actually found that it made my skin dewy with a glow-from-within look. I wore it every day until it ran empty. I don't wear makeup and there are plenty of times where I would wake up, slather some of this on, and leave for the day; my skin wouldn't be greasy! My sister wears full-coverage makeup every day and I got her a bottle as well — she said that applying it before (or as) a primer actually helped her makeup set better! 10/10 would recommend!!" —YaGirlSar

Get it from Glossier for $25.

P.S. You can also add a few drops to other liquid products like oils, serums, or creams for a ~radiant finish~.

Promising review: "I'm one of those people that constantly tries and hates foundations: either the formula or the color is always wrong. This, on the other hand, is perfection. So many color options that I was able to match one to myself perfectly and the coverage is completely customizable. I either mix this (two to three drops) with the Cover FX Calming Primer (for a really light, no-makeup finish) or with my BareMinerals Tinted Moisturizer and a tiny bit of the primer for something heavier." —Aneechka89

Get them from Sephora or Ulta for $22 each (originally $44; available in 25 shades).

The Body Shop also makes two lightening and darkening shade adjusting drops.

Even when totally dry, they're pretty impressive about taking all of my makeup (including waterproof eyeliner and mascara) in a couple swipes. I like to use a little micellar water to make my skin feel a little cleaner. It's nice not to burn through so many cotton pads." —Rachel M.

I am currently out of town and brought the product with me, and I've used it a few times for all the spots I have seemed to missed 😒. Very handy and helpful!" —Ronie

    28. IGK Blocked Water-Resistant Hair Shield protects color-treated hair from the perils of chlorine, as well as UV rays, wind, and sweat — call it an invisible swim cap for your head!

Promising review: "I work at a pool as a lifeguard and swimming instructor and this product has saved my blonde dyed hair. Before using this my hair would get that green tint from the chlorine and would become super crunchy after washing it. But since I started using this it’s definitely prevented that ugly green colour, and my hair doesn’t get as dried out and crunchy. I have thicker hair though, so I do have to use quite a bit more than recommended, but one bottle lasted me the whole summer with a solid month of swimming lessons every day, and then random lessons here and there. Am definitely buying again." —abazinet10

Get it from Sephora for $29.

    Natalie Brown / BuzzFeed, Aquis

Promising reviews: "I’m surprised by how well this actually works! I truly have coarse, un-tame-able hair that I must half air dry and then blow dry — it’s a science. But this towel really helps the texture of my hair and helps it dry more quickly. Now I can put the towel on when I get out of the shower, then be blow drying in 15 minutes. 32. Supersmile Whitening Pre-Rinse lets you keep a healthy white smile while skipping out on harmful bleaches and abrasives — it safely and painlessly whitens and remineralizes teeth and dental restorations (bonding, caps, veneers, and dentures), all before you brush your teeth and seal all that goodness in!

Promising review: "I recently had a complete smile makeover that involved a gum lift, professional teeth whitening, and 12 composite veneers. To maintain my beautiful, new smile, my cosmetic dentist recommended Supersmile. So I bought the entire system (this rinse, toothpaste, and accelerator) and have been using it twice daily for several months now. My smile today looks just as good on the day I first got my veneers, despite being a daily tea drinker. I got composite veneers instead of porcelain, as they were more conservative (no need for removal of healthy tooth structure), but a concern was that they would stain (composite tends to stain more easily than porcelain, or so they say). Not with this Supersmile system! All three products are a must in my opinion if you want to maintain a healthy, white smile. It's a little on the pricey side but if you can afford it, it's worth the investment." —Katherine Nora

Promising review: "The silicone thing is surprisingly so good at applying and blending out concealer; it really is like using your finger, but better and with more coverage. The brush side is super soft and buffs in powder beautifully. I imagine you could put foundation on the silicone thing and use it to dot product on your face before blending, so you don't waste any foundation. I love that it's kind of short and compact, so you can bring it with you on the go." —ivn826

Promising review: "I work out pretty hard five times a week on average and have thick and super long hair. I often stress about how to clean my hair or at least make my hair feel cleaner on a regular basis, but not anymore. This product is deceptively amazing. I felt like the strange texture would have no effect on my hair, but I was pleasantly surprised! My hair smells and feels clean but doesn't feel heavy, dried out, or totally stripped of its natural oils. It is gentle, though the instructions suggest using 'regular' shampoo and conditioner every two to four washes. I have needed something like this for FOREVER. I am already ordering more!" —DallasPA

Promising review: "I always think my lips look too thin, and no matter what lipstick I apply, it disappears quickly. This lip stain makes my lips look fuller and the color stays on for a long time (even when I work out and sweat). It looks great with the lip oil on top or alone. I've ordered another color. Love, love it." —Tucson

    36. Docolor Eyelash Comb fixes all of your clumpy and stuck-together mascara woes with a few gentle swipes/wiggles — hello, easy, breezy, and beautifully separated lashes!

Promising review: "A must have in my makeup case! I have used plastic lash combs, metal ones, and flat ones, all of which just didn’t get the job done. I always went back to a safety pin, WHICH I DO NOT ADVISE! This comb is metal and arched, which is much easier to use, and the teeth glide through lashes easily. NOTE: If your mascara is dry and clumped, ANY COMB COULD POTENTIALLY PULL OUT LASHES. JUST NO. DO NOT DO IT. I put on mascara, and while it’s still wet, I glide the comb through the base and go up. It’s that simple. I was concerned about cleaning it with alcohol, but I asked customer service and was told it was safe." —ASConner

Get it from Amazon for $3.99.

    37. LA Pure Original Eyeliner Stamp gives you a loving, helping hand when it comes to drawing out the perfect cat eye — it guarantees you get matching wings, which you can always customize and thicken with the pen for ~more drama~.

BUT I actually really love these! The wings look good, and I can customize them a bit with the liner side of the pen. The liner side tapers enough to make super fine lines or thicker ones.
