I was wondering that too. I did prefer him with Moose but even then it is weird to not include a couple that was canon whilst including couples that weren't or were one sided crushes.
They really don't. It started off great but now it is very one sided. Toni is just Cheryl's lap dog. Their brief break up was a step in the right direction for them fixing their problems but instead, as soon as they got back together, Toni continued to let Cheryl do whatever she wants…Â
It's worth noting that all these characters are BAME. Most of which are black too. They love to say they are inclusive but just introduce diverse characters to abandon them when they no longer serve a purpose to the main characters.
