1. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
These two funny ladies first met at an improv class in the early 1990s and have been best friends ever since.
Amy on Tina: “She’s the same way back then as she is now, which is really, really funny and incredibly hard-working and a very supportive and loyal friend. But she was a lot less rich. That was the only difference: she was like 100 percent less rich.”
2. Jason Segel and Paul Rudd
The two guys have been in four movies together, including I Love You Man, a movie about true bromance.
Jason on Paul: “There’s nothing better than having somebody you can play verbal ping-pong with on a comedic level, and Paul is the quickest guy around. He’s also one of the nicest. I’m heterosexual through and through, but the guy is dreamy.”
3. Rachel Bilson and Kristen Bell
This petite and adorable duo do everything from shopping to taking Invisible Children trips to Africa together.
Rachel on her trip with Kristen: “I was inspired to go with Kristen and the IC team to Uganda after spending some time with them all and witnessing their passion and drive. I knew I had to join them and get involved.”
4. Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep
Their friendship started growing when they starred in The Devil Wears Prada together.
Stanley Tucci on Meryl Streep: “To be a romantic leading man with Meryl—nothing could be greater! We’re becoming closer friends, and that film solidified the friendship. The times we spent together were always really joyful and sort of giddy. We share a very similar, cheap sense of humor.”
5. Ashley Benson and Selena Gomez
These two will remember their sprang break forevaaah.
Ashley on Selena: “She’s the best. She’s like my sister, I love her dearly. I’m so proud of her.”
6. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio
Even though Jack and Rose didn’t end up together, we still have Kate and Leo.
Kate on Leo: “He knows me better than anyone else in the world. Lots of male friendships begin as a cheeky snog. Or a little undercurrent of flirtation. But Leo and I? No. He’s my rock.”
8. Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison
Before they played mother and daughter on their television show, Once Upon a Time, Ginnifer and Jennifer were already great friends.
Jennifer on Ginnifer: “We’d been friends for years before this project, so it’s one of those dream situations where, going in, you know you’re working with somebody you already care about a lot and know a lot about.”
9. Donald Faison and Zach Braff
Their bromance may have started on Scrubs, but it didn’t stop there. The two have a lot of man love for each other.
Donald on Zach: “It’s very rare. Zach and I are both very lucky. I think our bromance is probably one of the strongest in Hollywood. At least I can say ours is real.”
10. Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler
I think Amy and Rashida’s friendship is more beautiful than Ann and Leslie’s from Park’s and Recreation. And that is really saying something.
Rashida on Amy: “I would go gay for her. It doesn’t seem fair that I get to work with her. I love her unconditionally.”
11. Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence
Even though Josh doesn’t exactly remember the first time they officially met, these two became quick friends. Honestly, though, who wouldn’t want to be BFFs with either of these two?
Jennifer on Josh: “He’s charming and nice and sweet, like a dog licking your face.”
12. Michelle Williams and Busy Phillipps
These ladies have been friends for more than a decade and have seen each other through the tough and happy times.
Busy on Michelle: “We were set up to be friends by a mutual friend, who thought that we would really love each other. And we did. We fell instantly in love.”
13. Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Even though they played love interests in 500 Days of Summer, there is nothing but pure, unadulterated friendship here.
JGL on Zooey: “It’s awkward when people say that. Whatever. Zooey and I just think it’s funny. It is funny. We’ve been friends for 10 years. She loves movies, music and art, and she’s incredibly knowledgeable about that stuff. She’s turned me on to so many good movies and so much good music. It’s fun just to have conversations, watch movies with her and stuff like that.”
14. Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph
These girls are also friends with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Just a reminder that your friend group could be a lot cooler.
Kristen on Maya: “I absolutely love working with Maya. The crew probably wishes we didn’t sing so much. We like to make up songs. Besides the fact that she’s my good friend and we do have a shorthand and very similar sense of humor and she makes me laugh so hard, she’s also just a good energy to have around. She’s a very nurturing spirit.”
