The 35 Best TV Moments Of 2018 That We're Still Talking About

From The Haunting of Hill House to The Good Place and everything in between.

1. First, in The Haunting of Hill House, we learned the heartbreaking backstory of the Bent-Neck Lady in one of the best TV episodes of the year.

2. Also in The Haunting of Hill House, Nell delivered a powerful speech about time, and honestly, I'm still crying over it.

3. This Is Us revealed how Jack died this year and it ruined Crock Pots forever.

4. This Is Us also surprised us when the show jumped forward in time to reveal an older Tess, Randall, and a mysterious "her" that they were going to visit.

5. Donald Glover took on the creepy role of Teddy Perkins in an episode of Atlanta that still gives me chills.

6. The Good Place delivered another plot twist at the end of Season 2 when everyone was sent back to Earth and Eleanor found Chidi, again.

7. The Good Place also told us how time actually works in the afterlife with "Jeremy Bearimy" and it was hilarious.

8. Not only did Doctor Who give us a female doctor this year, but they also delivered a poignant and important episode when Team TARDIS traveled back in time to make sure Rosa Parks succeeded in changing the world.

9. In Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Jake and Amy finally got married in an utterly perfect ceremony outside the precinct.

10. Riverdale traveled back in time and showed us how the parents were involved in Gryphons & Gargoyles.

11. Also in Riverdale, Cheryl and Toni finally got together after Toni and Veronica mounted a rescue to save Cheryl from the Sisters of Quiet Mercy.

12. In American Horror Story: Apocalypse, Jessica Lange made her long-awaited return as Constance Langdon when we went back to Murder House.

13. Also in AHS: Apocalypse, Michael Langdon and Cordelia came face-to-face as one fought to end the world while the other tried to save it.

14. Jane The Virgin delivered one of the craziest plot twists when Michael appeared ALIVE before Jane.

15. Grey's Anatomy bid farewell to April and Arizona in 2018, and honestly, I'm still not over them being gone.

16. In Supergirl, Nia Nal stood up for Brainy and had this emotional conversation with James about being a transgender woman — a monumental step for representation in the superhero genre.

17. We bid farewell to Ian Gallagher in Shameless when he ended up going to jail — but don't worry, his reunion with Mickey made up for it all.

18. In Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, after a season of fighting, Sabrina decided to sign her name in the Book of the Beast.

19. In Schitt's Creek, Patrick serenaded David with Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" at an open mic night and I can't think of it without crying.

20. In Wynonna Earp, Doc decided to become a vampire in order to stay immortal, leading to this heartbreaking moment between him and Wynonna.

21. Also in Wynonna Earp, Waverly proved why she's always the light in the darkness when she vanquished Jolene.

22. Both Rick and Carl Grimes departed The Walking Dead this year, thus marking the end of an era for the series.

23. Legends of Tomorrow gifted us with Sara and Ava's relationship this year and damn, it was perfect.

24. Elite gifted us with two powerful relationships: Nadia and Guzmán, and Ander and Omar, while simultaneously keeping us guessing about a murder — plus, it reminded us how great teen TV can really be.

25. In a more serious moment for Will & Grace, Grace revealed to her father that she was sexually assaulted by his friend Harry when she was just 15 years old.

26. While their reunion was just as memorable, Felicity visiting Oliver in jail after being attacked was our favorite Arrow moment this season.

27. In Killing Eve, Eve and Villanelle came face-to-face for the first time when Villanelle basically invited herself over for dinner.

28. Also we couldn't round up the top moments of 2018 without mentioning Villanelle's iconic pink dress in Killing Eve.

29. While the entire season of Sharp Objects was crazy, nothing was more jaw-dropping than the final scene when Camille finds some teeth hidden in the dollhouse.

30. The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story was remarkable as a whole, but nothing stuck with us quite like the opening moments when Andrew Cunanan killed Gianni Versace.

31. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel roared back into our lives with Season 2 and gave us probably the most Amy Sherman-Palladino-esque scene where Midge gives a performance in Paris.

32. The series finale of The Americans had a lot of memorable moments, but Elizabeth and Philip seeing Paige on the train platform was definitely the most heartbreaking and memorable.

33. Honestly, June's decision to stay in Gilead in The Handmaid's Tale might've been the most frustrating decision of 2018.

34. One Day at a Time ended Season 2 with a heartbreaking episode where Lydia was in the hospital — one of the hardest times I've cried this year.

35. And finally, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder gifted us with the ultimate Shonda Rhimes crossover event.
