1. Stay on top of the pain meds - even after you leave the hospital. Keeping up with them makes the pain more manageable instead of playing catch up after it gets bad.
2. It will feel like your incision is ripping apart (it's not), but you have to stand and walk as much as possible…Â
Csections aren't bad for everyone. If you have to have one, try to get up and move around as much as you can after you're "allowed" to get up. And make sure the nurses stay on top of the pain medicine - ask if you have to.
