Promising review: "I haven't played Scrabble in ages but I thought it was about time my 11-year-old son was introduced to it. I got this one so that we could take it by his grandma's when she babysits him every few weeks. It was even better than I had thought. I didn't realize that the squares on the boards were recessed so the tiles STAY PUT and won't move even when the board is bumped. That, right there, gave it the five stars. LOVE that feature. The rest is also five-star worthy. The soft bag to keep the tiles in has drawstrings to help keep it closed and the two storage bays underneath have plenty of room for the holders and the tiles, as well as things you may want to keep to track scores. It folds up easily, sits flat when opened, and even has small wheels on the bottom so you can spin it around so whoever wants can see everything 'right side up.' 20. An Escape Room game so you'll have the fun of those trendy mystery game rooms right at home. It'll come with three scenarios (The Dentist, Secret Agent, and Space Station) at varying levels of difficulty.

Promising review: "I was super nervous about this but decided to buy it and I am so glad I did. Who knew they really could give you an escape room experience in a box? You should be aware that each time you put in the wrong code, one minute is deducted from your time! Yikes! The tension is real, the clues are great, and you really do have to work for it. We had a group of six with ages ranging from 11 to 40+ and we divided and conquered the clues based on our strengths. Each escape game has three stages of clues. You open an envelope that gives you the clues (maps, puzzles, etc.) and there are hint cards just like you would get at a real escape room. Once you solve that set of clues, you move to the next one. We failed the first time. If you don't get it in 60 minutes you can either keep going (the clock starts counting up) OR you can wait and try again another day. We waited. It took two attempts for us and we skated it in the final seconds of the second try. Everyone had fun and we all worked together. You do have to commit to not cheating (i.e. don't access the clues too soon) but it works. The pieces and clues can be restocked by downloading them online when you are done in case you want to let it cool off and then do it again sometime in the future." —Amanda Krikle

Get it from Amazon for $25.68.

I've been hooked ever since. 1. They don't stink no matter how long you have them. 2. Warm water makes them soft yet abrasive enough to hand wash dishes. 28. The Spontuneous game that requires one player to choose a word while the others think of a song with that word in the lyrics. Note: You do not have to have the voice of an angel. In fact, it'll make for a much funnier night if you sound as terrible as possible., Amazon

My friends and I played this game and we enjoyed it a ton. I will say that the board game — not the cards — is what can create a limitation since it ends rather quickly. We were having a good time and really could have gone much longer than the board game's journey allows. If you want to, you can ditch the board and just follow the game with the cards. If you do that, then just take points down and determine how many points you guys are playing to. That will elongate the game.

Promising review: "The game brought laughs and tears running down our cheeks as the whole table would break out into a song. This game is fun for any family who wants to have a good time, is willing to laugh at each other, and can think fast on their toes. The rules are pretty simple and the turns around the table go fast. We had to think of about nine trigger words each and play with about nine people as well. The game works in both partners and individuals. I would recommend anyone play the game and take it to every party. Introverts do have a hard time playing when there are a lot of extroverts who will shout and yell the lyrics right over the top of someone quiet. Make sure you have a team spirit in mind and remember that the game is supposed to be fun for everyone, and you won't regret purchasing this game." —Canary

Get it from Amazon for $29.99 (free shipping).

    29. The Brilliant or BS card game, a trivia game that'll have you questioning your judgment, your friends' and fam's knowledge, and maybe doing a lil' bit of lying 🥴😂. This'll def put a spin on game time if your squad is into trivia.

Brilliant or BS, @brilliantorbs / Via

Each player has to use their A, B, or C cards to answer a trivia question but that's not all. They have to provide a very convincing reason to convince the designated "judge" that their answer is 100% right. The judge awards the "Brilliant" card to the person who's spiel they believe. The person who earns the "Brilliant" card gets points for convincing the judge (whether they're right or not). Then there's the big reveal: Each player reveals their answer (f/ the A, B, and C cards). Players who got the right answer get a point. The judge gets a point if their "brilliant" card went to someone who got it right but loses a point if the person got it wrong. The person with the most points after everyone's been the judge twice wins the game. May the best BS'er win!
