The storytelling was incredibly easy to follow and I often found myself so entranced by the book that I almost missed my stop on my commute to and from work.     If you enjoyed stories like Life of Pi or anything by Khaled Hosseini, you won't regret reading this book. A story of survival, chance and unbelievable luck (or fate, whichever you believe in), this is one tale that will stay with you for weeks after you turn the last page."

    8. And finally, this, the Bourjois "Velvet the Pencil" in Rose Story, which is so wonderfully creamy and moisturising, I'm wearing it even when I have no one to see.

    Promising review: "Weeks holed up at home means my skin is getting a much welcome break from makeup, but sometimes I still like to put on a lippie to get my head in the 'working from home' mindset. I discovered this lip pencil just before self-isolation and have been wearing it non-stop. I love how creamy the texture is and that it dries matte, without causing my naturally flaky lips to peel.

    Having yellow undertones to my skin, I find it difficult to find a pink that doesn't look unnatural on me, but this rose-pink suits me perfectly."
