How much I resented my partner. The lack of sleep, impatience with each other, lack of sex, changes in my body, division of parenting and adulting tasks really took a tool on our relationship. I never thought about divorcing my husband as much as I did that first year.

Viola’s delayed reaction to getting hit in the groin gets me EVERY time. “Ooooohhhhh, it BURNS!!!” And the tampons. “It absorbs right up!” my sisters and I would say that at least once a month. I adore this movie.

My father gave me and my husband a joint Christmas present. No big deal, except it was a gift card to a lingerie store. Two and a half weeks after I had a baby via c-section and leaking all kinds of things out of all kinds of places.

Adoption is EXPENSIVE and not the magic bullet. There are home visits, state and federal lists and licensing that all need to be kept current for AGES while waiting for a baby that could take months of waiting a heartache.
