I absolutely loved this film. Cassie is so clever and conniving, and kept me in suspense the whole way through.
I did wonder at the start, that she needs to be careful as she could have got herself killed if a man decided to inflict his rage on her, and very sad that I was proven…Â
'Never Knew Love Like this Before' episode from Pose... So many sad parts. That moment when Candy is talking about her father secretly buying her a dollhouse and how she felt seen and loved by him even though he didn't understand who she was.... OH MY LORD. I sob every time.
I absolutely loved the Intervention scene in The OC. Kelly Rowan was so underrated in this show, but in particular, the scene where she is confronted by her family who beg her to get help for her alcoholism. The slow unravelling of Kirsten's resolve as each person says their piece…Â
I didn't like Sam Rockwell for a while because he was so convincingly bad as Billy the Kid in The Green Mile. He is a fantastic actor but honestly I hated him for being an annoying a**hole but then you find out what he actually did.... My God he made my skin crawl I couldn't even…Â
In One Tree Hill when Sam ran away and her friend's brother picked her up, and you find out he a) is the man who assaulted Brooke and b) murdered Quentin. I almost threw my phone at the TV I was that shocked!
Aye but at least JF can pass as younger. Ben looks weird as a teenager, esp in this and the Politician. Yes he is a good singer but its so distracting watching a fully grown man try and play a diminutive reclusive kid.
My point was that this is looking more like a vanity project…Â
Ben Platt is too old to play Evan. Considering his father is the EP it doesnt surprise me. I am sick and tired of 30 year olds playing teens. Yes he originated it, but it will detract fully from the story and lose authenticity. There are so many young and talented actors who could…Â
Andrew Scott's Moriarty scene at the pool.
He is so quiet and calm and all sweetly suited up... Then Sherlock says 'People have died' and he turns on a penny.
'That's what people DO!!' The whole scene is chilling.
